Imagine playing FE Heroes and not getting Nephenee best girl, why even play.

I'm shooting for Elincia in the new banner because I run a Flier Emblem team and Elincia looks to be the best flying sword unit in the game now. Nephenee is a fun character too though. Not the best Tellius girl IMO (sadly, the best Tellius girl isn't in Heroes yet) but pretty good.

But almost every card listed under MR fucks over your opponent pretty bad right out of the gate, with zero or insignificant cost.

But there's a difference between "having a powerful effect that screws up your opponent early" and "instantly ending the game without your opponent being able to respond". It's possible to recover from getting two cards from your starting hand Delinquent Duo'd away, or one of your monsters being Snatch Steal'd away from you. Difficult, but possible. But in the days before the banlist, there was NOTHING you could do once you were in the Yata Lock. Effects coming from the graveyard were practically nonexistent at the time, and with nothing in your hand/field and no drawing... unless you chained a Waboku to CED's effect and drew a card to save you in that one last chance, you were fucked.

Last Turn and Self-Destruct Button are the only cards on this list that come even close to rivaling Yata's level of bullshit.

I can easily understand shooters being excluded, but (non-bloody, IE no Mortal Kombat) fighting games are no more violent than some of the sports that are already in the Olympics. Fighters... MOBAs... sports games... whatever the hell Rocket League is... those would easily be okay.

Empoleon is too low
Incineroar is too low
Serperior is too high
Charizard is way too high

Unless you're including Charizard's mega forms (which is blatantly unfair to the others) or you're blinded by nostalgia (which is blatantly dumb) then there's no way in hell that Charizard should be at the very top. It's generic, overrated, and just flat-out not very good.

I still main him in Smash Bros. because he's fun as hell to play over there. But in the main series, he's not the best or coolest fire starter. Not by a longshot.

For me, it's a really tough choice between Gengar, Starmie, Exeggutor and Articuno. If we include forms introduced in later games, then Alolan Exeggutor would break that deadlock and be my choice. But if we're counting just what they were in gen 1, I think I would have to go with Starmie.
