ftatman 05/22/17 6:49:05 AM #1 | IMO, of course. Very disappointed in you, GameFAQs. |

ftatman 05/17/17 6:45:59 AM #73 | FFX was the greatest. 8 and 9 were very good too. I don't care much for 7 - too childish. 12 was enjoyable but there were too many MMO / strategy-guide-bait elements. 13 was decent but the pacing was too unrelenting. FF15 was a mess. Earliest games are largely unplayable due to poor graphics and writing (again, childish). |

ftatman 05/16/17 5:42:51 AM #1 | The 46% are CRAZY. 2001 is an incredible year in gaming. The final has to be between 1998 and 2001. Just look at this list: http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/all/filtered?year_selected=2001 Come on, people. |
Topic | Isn't 1998 generally considered the best year in gaming anyway? |
ftatman 05/12/17 12:21:46 PM #28 | 2001 wrecks it! http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/all/filtered?year_selected=2001 1998 is good. 2001 is better. |

Ok, now that you posted this up I'm blown away....I thought 98 was a sure-fire WIN but dammit I will be voting 2001 now if these years go head-to-head. Yeah, I had to double check the release dates of several of the games to make sure it was legit because I found it hard to believe so many incredible games could be released in one year! |

ftatman 05/08/17 7:06:22 AM #7 | Zylothewolf posted... 98 got Tomba! So 98 has to win! That was admittedly an amazing game. I remember putting the demo disc into my playstation to have a stab at it over and over again to get as far as I could before the timer ran out. But on balance, the games on the list for 2001 are just too good. |

Topic | How to ask out gamestop cashier girl? |
ftatman 04/04/17 12:58:27 PM #69 | Funny line! But in reality you should be down to earth, strike up a conversation about anything at all (how her day is going or something basic) then after you've chatted for a few mins and you're both feeling comfortable, ask if she wants to go to X venue at X time cos you're going and maybe she'd like to come along. If she's interested, she'll say yes or give you an alternative time/date if she's busy; if she's not interested, no harm done and you go about your day. If she says no, don't take it to heart, the chances are low so no big deal; if she says yes, see it as a bonus. Be cool. Before you do, think to yourself "am i the type of person who would be worth her time and would I bring something to the relationship that she would benefit from" cos she'd be asking herself the same thing. You've got that initial moment and those couple of mins of chatting to convince her to take a punt. If you don't honestly believe you've got something she'd be interested in or would be worth her time, don't go for it. And for those asking 'you'll never get anywhere if you never take a chance', i say this: you should be stacking the odds in your favour. Go to the gym, get a cool job, get a cool hobby, etc. You don't get anything in this life handed to you. Make yourself an attractive proposition to the best extent you can, then take gambles on the opportunities you think you stand of chance of actually winning. |
