Those two shows, at least from my experiences in the circle of people I associate with, appear to be the most talked about shows, and popular enough that even people who have never seen them will have at least heard of them.

I'm just wondering what shows in the 2000s had that level of popularity? Im thinking Lost perhaps?

I'm a HUGE wuss when it comes to horror movies as I hate being scared, which is a shame, because of the few I've seen, they tend to have some pretty decent/good story (I especially love mystery elements).
