Pokemon yellow? Does that count?

i am not a fan of pokemon and i haven't played a single pokemon game before. will this game have full color when played on gbc? any more gameboy games with gameboy logo?

what i mean by that is that is there any gameboy cartridge with "gameboy" logo on the front of the cartridge, not "gameboy color" logo, having full color when played on gameboy color?

no, trust me, they have different contents

not the monotonous single color on gbc, but colorful graphics just like gbc games. do you guys know any gb games of this kind?

i remember there being a gbc game that is different in contents depending on which system it is played on, but i forget its name. anyone knows it?

there has already been a block installed on my browser,but it doesn't block the pictures from taboola, nor does it have any filter to which i can add specific website to block

GameGear is based on the Master System hardware and got more colors, sound channels, and a smaller resolution.
Because of these extra functions, GameGear games cant be played natively on a Master System or a Genesis. You can find patches online that converts GameGear roms into Master System compatible software, but then you need a flashcard to play them.
Your other option is to get a GameGear and mod it with one of many TV Out options that you can find with Google.
I think some GameGear games are sold as VC titles on Wii U.
The last option is... using an emulator. On PC or on a modded console, like the Wii or original Xbox.

The Master System and Game Gear have the same hardware specs, but the cartridges aren't interchangeable.

are gamegear games playable on sega master system or genesis? Can i insert the gamegear cartridges into sms or genesis and then play gamegear games on tv? i never own a gamegear and any gamegear games

Because they programmed the game to run on an ordinary Gameboy and only used the extra power for colors and eventual GBC exclusive stuff.
I cant think of anything like that, but I know that the Oracle Zelda games had features that only worked if played on a Gameboy Advance, and nothing really prevents it from working on GB/GBC as well.

If I recall correctly, they actually, like, had two separate versions of the game on the cartridge: a Game Boy version, and a Game Boy Color version. It would check which it was plugged into when booting up and load the appropriate version.

And on top of that, there was a game which actually has TWO completely different games depending on whether you plugged it into a GB or GBC game. I can't remember which game that was though, and really need to look that up. It isn't well-documented.

are there only differences in graphics or there's even more?

That is what his last line is addressing. Regardless of if it is backwards compatible or not, it will always run in Double 8 .

I would imagine it runs in double 8 when playing GBC only games, and single 4 when playing regular gameboy games.

what about the regular gbc games?

it has two modes, single 4 or double 8. when does it run in single mode and when in double mode?
