Couple weeks of training gets you your butter bar, you actually get paid a shit load of money (when you consider they pay for your housing and groceries as well as your actual pay. you can serve your country in a meaningful way, and retire when you're 40 making more money than most people you know either as a Col. or Lt. Col Unless you've got what it takes and truly want to be a marine, don't. it takes a special breed, and as long as you're decently smart, you can take that and thrive in the AF without getting fucked over by uncle sam, and also with generally no chance of PTSD or death. --- Detroit Vs.
