just because you're on salary doesn't mean that they can't pay overtime. It depends on if you actually have staph. In other words you need to have a certain number of people directly reporting to you. If you don't you still get overtime check the laws in your state. They're not hard to find.

Are you currently alone?
What do you immediately do?
Where will you go?
What will you bring along?
Who do contact? If anyone.
What's terrain like where you are?

1. No, I just got to work (gas station).
2. Load up my car with all the food and drinks I can grab from the store, as well as my coworker's.
3. Call up my other coworker who lives about 2 minutes away and is a gun nut. Tell him to grab all the weapons and ammo he's got and meet us at his doorstep in 2 minutes. Then head out to the countryside somewhere.
4. See #2 & #3.
5. Call my parents and my brother and give them a heads up. Let them know where we're heading, tell them to meet us there, and wish them luck.
6. Suburbs of Cleveland, but only about 20-minute drive to get to the middle of bum-fuck nowhere, Ohio.

I think we've got a pretty good shot, tbh. The gas station is a pretty good place to start from, since with all the food and drinks we'd be set for a good while. And my coworker nearby has 5 or 6 different guns in his collection, including a few pistols and I think a shotgun. He takes good care of them too, so they'd all be in perfect working order. Our defensive capabilities would be pretty solid. And once we get to the highway we'd pretty much be home free. Overall, probably a 9/10 chance to survive.

lordmud gon kill you in this scenario...lol

The government would catch you. Imprison you, and experiment t on you like in Firestarter.

Take Spider-Man. The government would flood the area with drones and listening devices. They'd know it was Peter Parker within days of the first sighting. It's then a simple matter to make both aunt may and Peter dissappear.

I actually have a plan for this.
Scenario: a military convoy has an accident and releases infected zombies. One of the noninfected soldiers or a scientist makes it to my house and gives warning. He provides video on a phone of the infection. He then kills himself or otherwise goes out of the picture.

Are you currently alone?
No. Wife and 2 kids

What do you immediately do?
Check water levels and start pumping the well for extra water. Board up windows and doors with wood from the shed

Where will you go?
I'm riding it out at home unless I know of a safe place.

What will you bring along?
I have a months supply of food. Over 100 gallons of water. Arms and equipment to ride out two weeks of a disaster.

Who do contact? If anyone.
Parents and tell them to get here.

What's terrain like where you are?
Heavily wooded. Houses sit on 2 to 20 acres of land. One road in. Nearest town is cleveland 30 minutes away.

Note: if my solar radio warns that things are escalating and infection is uncontained. I would eliminate neighbors and take their supplies. That radius of death would expand as my supplies dwindled.

As somebody who's about 5 and 1/2 6 inches I wish that I could take my girl from behind standing up. You know like f****** her against the wall or something like that. It just doesn't work out.

You can only travel to the future. Well, any point forward from when the appature base is activated. Plus, of course, no return so it's pretty much useless.

I've always heard it described like a you're a bit of bark rolling down a creek. You can speed yourself up in the current to get to a point on the bank faster but you can't reverse the current because the flow of water is too strong. Too much science. Lol.

I don't post here much but I will on this issue.
Not sure where you are posting from. I'm in America so will talk about that only. I have to say that government seizure of private property is much more of a problem than the vague idea that in a socialist country you need to fear it be coming communist.

In America it is legal for our government to seize assets, cash or property if the item was used in the commission of a crime. So, for instance if your 16 year old son sells marihuana to his friends and then gets busted the police can seize your house because that is where the transactions occurred.

It gets better because even if the charges are dismissed the forfeiture stands.

Now the best part. If you attempt to get your items back you must work within the very system that seized your items in the first place.

This does not even begin to get into issues such as warrantless searches by the government. That's a totally different area but does figure into your topic.

We must be much more worried about our government apparatus trampling on our property right than some idea that socialism will lead to forfeiture of all personal wealth.

I don't post much on this site so I'll take you answers off the air.
