As the sequel to ragnarok: disappointing

As the 4th thor movie: good, distant second best

As the 35th or so MCU project: fine, somewhere in the middle

It was my most anticipated movie or show of the year after how much i loved ragnarok. It disappointed but I still think its in the middle of the marvel range.

From my experience, my coworkers/friends who watch less marvel stuff or tune in occasionally ended up liking it more than the bigger marvel fans who had seen thor reach bigger heights.

Tldr: its fine

Infinity war will win that one

I think winter soldier has the best chance to beat infinity war

Ragnarok had an outside shot but the taika hate is at a peak right now

People act like bringing back past spideys and their villains was tough

I still think the toughest part was melding the avengers with the magic of dr strange and the cosmic of guardians and their different tones. That was the bigger accomplishment

I love both and have them at the top level of Marvel. I think I have infinity war at 1 of the MCU (and comic book movies in general) and NWH at 6 in the MCU

That said there is a giant gap in their quality. IW is so much better

Yeah, the fact that standard Jennifer couldn't get matches is extremely unrealistic.

But I don't get the comments that say the show bashes men. Seems well rounded in terms of decent men, shitty men, decent women, shitty women...

aside from this episode where people dont know what the dating scene is like. The movie making dude didnt even seem like that bad of a guy. Annoying sure. Also the one dude just wanted a big green woman. Jen and the lawyer just wrote them off as bad people, only because they were incompatible dating matches. In the dating pool women are just as shallow.

The rest of the show has been fine, its just sensitive dudes on the internet

I'm not really picking up on the jabs at men. Maybe I'm missing it. There are some stupid male characters but those are in every show. Just cause some males are antagonists, and the main character is female, doesn't mean its anti male.

I dont get why this show gets so much hate. I even saw a video on YouTube saying the creator clearly never read a she hulk comic. I think this is the most comic accurate entry yet in the mcu.....

I didnt mind them in the other episodes, like the cat calling one or the ones about men crying on the internet

...but this show got the whole dating app scene so wrong. Jennifer walters in real life would match everyone and most likely be rejecting everyone for even the smallest mistake while getting free meals

Disney remakes have been crap, this will probably be crap regardless of actress but when its crap, people will say "well its because disney did the race swap"

Also success comes from it accepting its comic book status. No forcing everyone away from goofy colorful outfits. Very few stories on beating up street thugs in nyc/chicago. Its embraced the cosmic and fantasy of the comics which no one else would touch

I think its because missteps arent ignored or erased. The hulk movie has now built into many projects. Thor dark world became a part of avengers endgame.

Other franchises would hit restart after a lower received outing, mcu keeps moving along. Also playing with less known characters helps. Theres limits to how much you can deviate spiderman and batman. Guardians, shang chi can be messes around with. Also if one entry disappoints you, theres probably something better for your tastes coming up soon

Even if the timeframe allowed for it, what could they do. Zeus was scared of Gorr with the necrosword who was beatable by thor.

Thanos no infinity stones probably wrecks most of them but by then he had multiple. I dont think anyone in the maim universe stands a chance maybe the celestials

Oh MCU Eternity was just pulled from their ass. This makes a ton of sense now. Eternity is just a magic lamp with one wish. Way to butcher one of the strongest beings in Marvel just to get your disney actor you can milk till theyre 17. Bravo.
