Since that last post someone literally opened Imperm AND Nib so even though I played around it with Baronne I still got rocked lmao. I tried looking on MasterDuelMeta and it seems like Nib is usually run at only 1 in most decks. Statistically speaking it shouldnt be a huge concern but...

Also the Vendread Solo Gate was surprisingly fun. Already have the UR from building Zombies and the rest are SR or lower. Tempted to make it for Casual.

With Halqi gone, my Sky Striker deck got weaker. Though I will still use it to reach Diamond at least. Two Raigekis and Pankratops could be useful I guess

Ive found the Dark Charmer that got suggested gets the job done in a pinch. (Earth and Fire Charmers are probably safer bets, but I find by the time I want to bring out Accesscode Ive already summoned Kagari/Kaina >_>)

I also went ahead and added an extra copy of Shark Cannon and it definitely helps speed up link climbing.

Just...Selene isnt reliable anymore without a way to guarantee Veiler. Ive been using Unicorn as my stairway to Accesscode but I am probably gonna find a permanent replacement for the witch. >_>

Honestly Rush Duel looks like a decent amount of fun. I remember seeing some girly card that could shoot up to something ridiculous, like a million attack points. One of these days I'll grab the Switch game.

Last we see of Zedd he's in some dorky human form dancing with good Rita.

Dino Fury monster has power to bring back dead/past villains. Mostly uses it to revive that season's villains but also revives Zedd "from a point in time where he was most powerful", which doesnt make sense, but not much in Power Rangers does

I personally feel a bit icky about the true crime genre because it comes off as a bit exploitative, but I assume there must be a way to tell these stories in a way that doesnt contribute to perpetuating them. And it would be too easy to use it as an argument for bad faith censorship.

I cant speak to the Dahmer special specifically, but it's well known that a contributing factor to mass shootings is the publicify they get in the news; and Thirteen Reasons Why was criticized because it ironically "glorified" suicide despite attempting to paint it as a tragic thing. (As in, it's airing correlated with a slight rise in suicides)

Sometimes it's not that the subject material is portraying something in a positive or negative light, but that the glorification comes from the attention we give these phenomenon.

That said Ive yet to hear anything tying true crime documentaries to copycat killers or the like, but it's worth noting that the societal impact of displaying certain behaviors doesnt necessarily correlate to the intention of the display. >_>

Depends under what terms he purchased the painting. A rare painting with huge cultural significance wouldnt be the first nor weirdest thing to be sold with strings attached.

Or hell you can already (technically) get in trouble for improperly disposing of or handling certain things you can legally purchase. You purchase those things with the understanding that there's a responsibility attached to them.

I think the fact that so many people argue that Avatar has no cultural impact ironically sort of proves it does have such an impact. Like nobody cares about the movie outside of the spectacle of the thing. We all sort of look at it and say "wow that's pretty as hell", and we also recognize that our appreciation of it as a piece of art stops there.

The same way most people can point to Nickelback as a representation of uninteresting, safely marketable radio rock, we can point to Avatar as a representation of fantastic technical achievement without fulfilling substance.

I dont have the energy to get into another Yugioh gacha but Cross Duel does look nice. Im jealous of the models, at least.

Lost to a PendMages player while I was using SwordSoul. Kind of on me though since I shotgunned my Max Cs to shut down their Pendulum plays. Shouldve been more consientous to the fact that I had bricked and my entire gameplan was "for the love of god keep Chengus on the field"

Still though, Pendulums are based so hats off random Japanese Pendulum Player With Great Taste

I appreciated Twilight Princess for what it was at the time it was released, if that makes sense. It had been 8 years since OoT. MM was fairly divisive and WW even moreso. After a period of experimentation it's good to go back to a strong, traditional entry that's main gimmick is just executing the popular formula.

But yeah it's pretty apparent that they were trying to chase the ghost of OoT, which causes the game to feel very "been there, done that" at times.

BotW was definitely needed and I'm glad the sequel is happening. But I'd hope that relatively soon we get another "traditional" Zelda game. No overt gimmicks like sailing or transforming or whatever, just the classic formula with modern/stronger level design, boss fights, items, etc.

It takes borderline zero effort to be articulate in writing. If you're a grown-ass adult, English is your primary language, and you still can't differentiate to/two/too, where/were, your/you're, it's more embarrassing than anything else.

It also shows a lack of professionalism. I vividly remember being at my last job and nearly everyone in management making fun of a district manager because he could barely spell anything in his emails despite having multiple degrees.
