Yeah first time, and no special plans, I usually groom myself every month or so as the hair grows in. I grow hair pretty much everywhere other than the mid and lower back. Trimming everything by myself is a bit of a pain and takes a while, so I wanted to try getting waxed

Ys? Ive only played Ys Chronicles and am currently playing Dawn of Ys but the whole series seems to fit the bill. Origins and everything up to Ys 6 are either 16ish-bit or 3D models but still harken back to that aesthetic. Great boss battles, great music, etc.

Any of you use these for gaming? Do games/movies take advantage of the Spatial Audio tech to basically replicate surround sound?

Like if I were to play L.A Noire (a game famous for surround sound) on Steam/Windows, would my AirPods automatically have the surround sound enabled or would I have to tweak some settings on the computer or something? Thanks.

Airpods work with my ps4 via the TV Bluetooth, and works great on my windows. Theyre also great at the gym. Im happy! All my bases covered.

nope only wireless Sony headphones work. But I wont be needing a dongle after all. If your tv has Bluetooth you can just connect the AirPods to that

I agree, between these, those M1 chips and their software ecosystem, their engineers are magicians. It just sucks how little control they give users. Imagine if you could buy an m1 CPU/GPU for your own builds. Thing competes with the 3080 and is silent and heatless. But nope, not only are they proprietary, youre not even allowed to buy extra RAM for it. Apple is well within their rights, but still kinda crappy.

I played the 2 GBC games and made a lot of decks and read up on the metagames of those times.

As a kid I bought some decks but didnt really play with them lol.

When audio is playing and I take out a single bud, the audio will stop and wait for me to put it back in or manually unpause the video/music. Is there a way I can set it so music keeps playing when I remove a single airpod?

Ive been rocking with regular wired headphones this whole time but they finally crapped out on me.

I had a bunch of Costco store credit so I decided to use it towards some AirPod Pros. Theyre the more expensive option, but I have mild cauliflower ear from wrestling, and I have a problem with earbuds falling out of my ear because of that. The rubber tips on the pros seem like a good solution to that problem.

the noise cancelling and transparency modes are really cool sensations. Its almost like your ears popping when taking off on a plane, or otherwise changing altitude all at once, but its not an unpleasant feeling. Im not a huge audio nerd so the quality is fine for me and I only really wanted them for the gym. I guess I have a better way of watching videos on my phone at home now too.

Something I realized after buying them is that they can connect to my computer! I built it last year and bought $20 Logitech z130 speakers, and theyve always been kind of glitchy. Not really happy with them. But I watched some review videos of the AirPods, and apparently theyre more than serviceable headphones for playing video games. They can even take advantage of games that use surround sound / spatial audio, so Ill be able to hear footsteps behind me and bullets whizzing by me. That sounds like itll be a super immersive experience.

These things are stupidly expensive and I hate how Apple makes everything proprietary, but I gotta admit they put a lot of effort into making products consumers will love. Not a huge apple fan at all, Ive only got an iPhone and now these AirPods, but between these, and especially their M1 CPU/GPU chip, Im extremely impressed with their engineering side.

Are you playing for the first time? Then play FRLG. FireRed has Arcanine and Nidoran M is more common, but LeafGreen has Slowbro and Starmie, so its a tossup.

If youre replaying, download Pokmon DarkViolet and play that

I watched some videos on ToP X, and yeah the graphics are great, everything is nice and big and smooth.

Still just hobbling along in the game. Theres a cave near Early/Arlee the ice village, where supposedly Im supposed to find the Shadow summon. Ive already encountered Dhaos in the forest and collected the appropriate Summon Ring, but the guard still doesnt let me through. Not sure why. My other 2 destinations are the church in Freezikiel, the other ice town, and the big tower in the desert continent.

Now is the time to visit. Also visited Thor again to collect a new spirit. The last-minute lore of the 3 empires of Thor Odin and Fenrir is super interesting.
