I once got drawn in an argument with someone, who said automotive competition such as car racing, rally, snowmobiles, etc, wasn't a sport. So I said, that it's because they're a motorsport, still competitive and physically demanding, but not the same as a traditional sport like soccer, etc. Then it was like getting stuck in a matrix glitch where they just kept parroting that it wasn't a sport, so I said it's because it's a motorsport, only to get 'it's not a sport'.

It wasn't even them trolling, they were just being obtuse as fuck.

I used to have a bike, where the seat's adjustment mechanism was dodgy. It didn't truely stay at an angle, because out of nowhere it'd do a nose dive/lift and either impale your ass or destroy one's balls.

I hope who ever took it, enjoyed the seat trying to literally violate them.

This reminded me of the time I was renting Fable 3 from blockbuster over 10 years ago. The guy at the counter was straight up hitting on me while going through the checkout process. I was so confused because I just wanted to pop in and rent a game, not get romanced at blockbuster of all places.

I don't mind the fireworks. I grew up in a household with shouting women and completely tuning them out was the only way to watch TGIF in peace. I'm the same with sports and video games.

It's the bullets that's got me annoyed.

Yeah, the fireworks are annoying, but at least you can somewhat anticipate when they're used. Though I am mad when people who don't even live on this street, randomly show up to fire them off. Like they can't set em off on their own street, they come here? the hell...

As for bullets, it's real great when you hear 10 or more muzzle reports in the distance and the distinct individual whistle/snap as the rounds pass in your direction or ricochet off things. Happened to me while I was in the yard with the cats, and some genius was firing off in their backyard somewhere.

Just pretend they're using artillery and then sleep soundly like a baby.

My sister will take the hot wheels given to her sons as toys, and keep tucked away as collectibles instead or sell em off. I also have a cousin, that his dad would make him keep most of his toys sealed in the packaging... he also glued his lego sets, so yeah.

I used to play Eve online, and someone in a group bought another player's account for the character on it. This part went fine, then months later the person who originally owned the account and sold it was trying to pull some stuff about how it was stolen. It was a total mess of an investigation, but the character was kept by the person who bought it at least.

Pretty sure there was even the ability to just do a legal character transfer from one account to another for like 10-15 dollars at the time, so not sure why they sold the entire account for 1 character.

Star Trek Online though

Gawd, this just brought up a fond memory of when it first launched. Game launched/opened, and like 26 hours after being available to play, someone hit max level and immediately started complaining that there's nothing to do.

It's also the game where there was a random screenshot/capture of a closed beta. Someone was complaining about the game being unfinished/buggy, so a dev said along the lines of "Welcome to joy of a closed beta. All the exits have been locked and electrified, no one can escape until we find all the bugs."

His father is/was, as that's where the car shell is found. There's also 2 others in the school that are "military brats".

1-3 is where they still mostly stick with the roots and is fine.
4-5 is a bit different, but still mostly tangible.
6+ is where it just goes off the 'how goofy can we make this'

You can also clearly tell they messed up in 3, because 4-6 are supposed to take place between 2 and 3, then you've got 8 and 9 making the timeline worse.

Foxers. About 10 or more years ago, we used to have this young adult fox that desperately wanted to be a pet. It'd hang out in the yard and sit within 4 feet of you like it was a pet dog/cat. It was cute, but was also a risk. What was really heart breaking is when it finally left, then came back months later with mange, looked like a zombie dog.

There's 2 juvenile oppossums that are in the yard/under the house with the cats, they're so cuuute.

Anyways, this morning Mystic and the tomcat got into 2 fights, brawling in the driveway, with Mystic being the victor, causing the tomcat to retreat across the road. During which all the others came to watch and one of the newer kittens across the street (all black short hair, looks like Cinder minus the white), came over and tried to puff up and intimidate Mystic. Mystic is like 6-8 times the size of the smaller cat. Then it fled with the tomcat.

This isn't the first cat turf brawl, as the others will chase off others. Though it was funny the one day I saw one creeping into the yard as 8 cats watched it like "u in the wrong yard" and it slunk out.

Some of the mechanics were eh, but I loved the setting and twists, minus that one...y'know.

Reading this kinda reminds me of an old neighbor. She had 2 cats, the female looked exactly like these kittens do, the cream with grey trim. The cat got pregnant, the owner pretty disowned her until all the kittens died to raccoons and then decided to take her back in.

We tried to help, but it was futile. Then again these were the same kind of people that bring a trailer full of garbage to burn in the backyard for 2-3 days after garbage day. Even once caused an explosion.

If they're wild it actually makes more sense for them to be clean, as feral cats learn to take care of themselves. I do agree it looks like someone probably dumped multiple litters, probably from 3 mothers after being unable to rehome em.

I almost forgot about that encounter.

Not too long ago the house next door had exterminators show up, caused some bugs to redirect over here. So here I am late at night checking things before going to bed. Hear the scurry, and see 2 large roaches scurry and fly. I grab the swatter and engage in combat with 4 of those near 2 inchers at once, flying at me. One even landed on my back and crawled up to the back of my neck. When done I noticed a 5th just watching from a crevice.

After it was over.
"Probably could have done without that." and slept soundly.

If you've ever had one fly at you within a foot of your face, multiply it by 4.

I had both.

I wanted the PS1, but due to my cousin and grandparents I got the N64 for christmas first. Then some time later (either months or a year) got a ps1. I prefered the PS1 games, though the n64 still had some greats.

I fully expect this to be 60 dollars down at the walmarts.

Meanwhile, I made like 2-3 tours to grab items etc and fucked right off.

It really sinks in, when you watch 5 cats take turns dismantling a squirrel.
I watched as a litter of 4 took turns running around with it, as mama cat kept stealing it away.
Then one ate half of it including the skull in its entirety, another ate the other half including the pelvis.

All that remained were the hind paws and a damn fluffy tail. Then they kept the tail as a toy for a few weeks in the yard. It was great.

In not even a year I've seen a few shrews, a mole, a bird, and like 8 squirrels. That I know about.
