Aside from the teenage drama stuff, I enjoyed it.

CW drama stuff is like 70% of the screen time though. When only 30% of a show is tolerable it's not that great. If it wasn't called Resident Evil and took it for what it was ignoring changes to established characters and settings, it would still be another generic skippable zombie show.
