I mean screw actually raising your Pokmon and forming any sort of bond with them until they're actually useful right? Drop your starter at the Daycare until they're ready to learn Hydro Pump! Leave it with a Ditto until it can spawn a better version of itself with perfect EVs. If you ain't got Rare Candies take yo broke ass home, right??? SPEEDRUN!!Well this isn't the anime, they are just 1's and 0's. Your Pokemon isn't any different than another one (stats aside). It's one thing to be sentimental over a physical object, but with digital data? I've got some bad news...that Pokemon isn't the same one...it has been rewritten many times in different memory cells over the course of the game. Dropping a starter at the daycare is silly though, because they are stronger than nearly every early game Pokemon. Breeding for stats with a Ditto is good though, and probably one of the most common things people do. The online mystery trade is proof of that, where most of the stuff you get are unwanted tourney tier Pokemon and starters that didn't make the cut. --- Bells, bells, bells! |

I've noticed this first hand from friends who were hating on Steve befote his reveal, during his reveal, after his reveal, and now make claims how he's the most broken character of any game. It would only change if we had any knowledge at all that we were reliving the year, but we dont.Would RNG systems play out exactly the same? What forces would cause a computer randomly generating something to spit out the exact same data in scenarios where it is specifically being random. You can make cases for a human rolling a dice always being the same, because they'd be in the exact same place and throw it the exact same way. But what forces cause a computer's random data to be exactly the same on a repeating time loop? Because if that is a factor, the world could potentially be very different based on butterfly effects from millions of people being effected by random data. --- Bells, bells, bells! |
