It's crazy what Japanese modders have done with Skyrim. They've modded in stuff like full anime fighting style animations for nearly every style in the game for example.

Ive never been so confused about a game before. Besides the cringe dialogue, which is just a different type of cringe from the earlier games, this game looks exactly what we expect it to. A fun arcade-like GTA experience. Yet people are lampooning this game. You guys are far, FAR too harsh on it.

I think people are tired of open world clones. If this had come out a few years ago people would be more welcoming but the genre has been so flooded and there's been very little innovation on the formula.

Say what you want about Bethesda but no one has yet to successfully copy the feel of their games. I'll be curious if Starfield gets hammered too because it doesn't seem like Bethesda has improved their standard formula since Skyrim/Fallout 4. Their saving grace is ease of modding but who knows how Microsoft may try to clamp down on that if they do.
