It's based on whichever one was active on the field first. If Skill Drain is already active on the field before Final Sigma hits the field, then its protection never "turns on" in the first place and it can be affected by other card effects. But if Skill Drain is activated after Final Sigma hits the field, or if an already face-up Skill Drain is "turned off" somehow (like an Imperm activating in its column or some other kind of negation) to give Final Sigma's protection the chance to "turn on", then that protection is active as long as it remains face-up on the field and it's unaffected by any card effects, including Skill Drain.

The lack of replayability is one of the things that keeps it from being "the best" imo.

Not everyone has played the game and even if it is a remake they probably do consider a character death a spoiler.

I'll be honest, this is a great addition to someone who's married like me that constantly has people over. So now I don't have to be embarrassed playing a game like Bayonetta anymore and this is a great addition. It only incentivizes me to buy it now.
