It got screwed over by Covid as well. Wasn't it the first movie to hit Disney+ instead of theatres after getting pushed back several months? So for some people, it unintentionally got the stigma of being a straight to video release instead of being good enough for the theatres. Not to mention being like the first movie to come out post-endgame, so almost like it was just an afterthought movie as well.

It was finally this movie that had a "jumped the shark" moment for me. The crazy stuff at the end with Roman and Tej was just too much for me. I've always loved the over the top stunts they come up with, but this just took it to cartoonish levels.

Not sure yet what happened with the sprinkler system.

From what I hear about how the business is run by the employees, it was probably cheaper to throw up some pipes and stickers than actually having working sprinklers.

Because I put literally nothing into Mind after starting lol. It's been at 11 since starting with the Bandit. So, my Spirit summoning is limited to anything under 71 MP. But, they still tear shit up

Started as Bandit as well. Raised my FP just enough to afford using Perfumer Tricia, and she served me well until falling into the trap of using the mimic tear for everything.

I am glad I'm not the only one completely getting my ass handed to me in Storm Veil by the knights. I literally sat there trying to learn their movements and man...they just tear through me..Second area was much easier...boss too

Just wait until near the end of the game. Dual-wielding greatsword knights are a big nope to me. They also get to teleport, and seem immune to sneaking up behind them for a backstab.

I feel like Im going the opposite direction and kind of stepping on my own fun at times. This is less of a problem with Elden Ring than it is sirgt every other open world game. But as an open world game it also has the problem where if you're actually interested in trying to blindly do every little bit, you're gonna end up making areas waaay easier than they were supposed to be. Especially if you do them in the wrong order because of playing blind. However, with diminishing returns in leveling up, Im hoping by the near end I'm not too OP anyway. Cause....Im not gonna stop trying to explore everywhere >_>. Or maybe I will rush the end and then do NG+ to get to the areas I didn't completely explore with higher leveled enemies.

Is this a viable strategy?

I beat the game at level 178, with like 165 hours of playtime. I had like 4 main weapons I would swap between, at different upgrade levels before I found the ball bearings to buy stones. Which meant I could use one of my weaker weapons if I felt too overpowered. But it was a strange balance, where I avoided regular enemies because they could hand my ass to me, while the boss in the area went down in 2-3 attempts.

Saw it in the theatre when it first came out, and didn't really care for it. Watched it again a few months ago, had a few chuckles, but otherwise felt it was pretty "meh".

I'm down with the clown.

I find it fascinating how many people were secret fans of woman's swimming.

Just found the deathbed dress, and think it became one of my favorite pieces of fashion armor. Goes well with finger maiden head, and it hides chunky leggings i use for poise.

Im a prophet who has been dumping everything into FAITH / STR but still havent found an actual good faith sword at level 80 and lots of hours in!

Use your ashes of war to change the scaling type of a sword you like to take advantage of faith, if you have one available.

It's been an annoying thing watching some blind playthroughs. Hearing them complain about the weapons, but not once have they actually looked at the ashes of war menu to see that it would address their problems.

Btw, what's a good spot to farm runes in the early game? I've opened up Liurnia of the Lakes, Caelid, Limgrave, and Siofra River. My thought are those dudes near the big dude that eats deathroot.

Was my spot too. If you start from the grace by the bridge, you can get the jump and backstab quite a few of them.

For a one time boost, a night calvary spawns on the tiny bridge to the east nearby. It seems to just kind of die if you hop on torrent and run away to the north.

I do wish we had more light helmet options that is more on the hat side like with the aristocrat hat. Other than that the armor choices is pretty cool. Hair styles need more work/options though, but that is basically the usual when it comes to from software games:

I just learned that there are three similar body pieces to what you are wearing (the cape hangs different). Spent over an hour farming for the monk body version. Gave up after getting about 18 pairs of the pants but no body.

As for the head, I'm partial to the altered flower hood. It leaves just the wreath of flowers.

If it is what I'm thinking of, I totally cheesed it. Came at them from the grace in back, and was able to aggro/kill one of them before the other knew I was there.

That was my problem with them. Working at a theatre, it was nice that they had the courtesy to spit into a cup. What wasn't nice is that they left them sitting in the cup holders for the ushers to pick up.

I think I've gotten everything. But there was one item in a whole in the wall on the western side I couldn't figure out how to get to.

think of the rampart as the central point. Once you have the lift unlocked, take it down for a shortcut.

once you get through the courtyard and up the stairs, head left for grace

Think it might be before you get the lift unlocked. You can drop off the ledge before you enter that bottom floor with the spear night below the grace, then walk around the outside wall of the castle.

Guys, playing with summons is cheating and you suck for using an easy mode.

You should learn to git gud like me.

Proceeds to do insane AFK rune farming and follows the same build as everybody else to nearly one-shot bosses.

that being said, magic is still not for me, but i do use a handful of incantations

I was surprised by the effectiveness of magic weapon arts. Put Gravitas (AoE around me that pulls enemies closer) on a polearm and was pleased with the results. I assume that the damage of it scales with int, but even with only 8, I can still do around 200 damage to non bosses.

They hate fire, so if you are nervous, you light up the big ones, go in for attacks, then back off when the flame goes out. Repeat as needed.

Or if you have 12 faith, you can buy cure poison for cheap. Not a faith build myself, but 12 gives me quite a few options for utility spells that don't really rely on scaling. Think I'm currently rocking a spell that cures poison/rot, weapon buff that does fire/bleed, sneak and safe fall buff, a regen, a fireball, and poison mist.

Having too few of an earlier Smithing Stone when you've got plenty of the higher one's drove me nuts during my playthrough. I don't mind that weapons go to like +25 or whatever, but having so many different levels of upgrade materials sucked for moments like this.

I loved what The Surge 2 did for stuff like this. You could take a high tier item and break it down to a lesser quantity, like turning a single tier 4 into 2 tier 3's.

It is the one thing bugging me about Eldin Ring right now. I found a weapon with the move set I'm wanting, but it stuck on a +2 right now due to me having a lack of the base stones.

I just found the Smough Butt slam, and it's hilarious.

Going to try out a flame fan type move I found now that I can keep my weapon keen (instead of fire or standard only). It's quick, and if it adds a tiny bit of stagger, that will get me out of a lot of situations when mobbed.

I'm an overweight, out of shape, pack a day smoker, and am one of the very few who still wears a mask, even though it is mandatory.

How does it feel when you whine how hard it is to put one on, somehow being physically weaker than me?

It's worth pointing out that grain is a property inherent to film, like the texture of a canvas.

Worked at a movie theatre for almost 20 years. The transition from film to digital really sucked to me. It no longer felt like I was watching a movie, but instead just a giant ass television.

I don't really have that feeling when I go now, but I'm not sure of the reason. Maybe I just adapted. Maybe the tech has gotten better in subtle ways. Or maybe I just forgot because I don't have the opportunity to compare them any more.

I don't like having stuff in a quest log. Playing Dragon Age Inquisition, I was afraid to talk to people after awhile because it would keep triggering generic "collect X amount of Y items" that I felt the need to clear out.

I wanted to love the Bloodletter, but I didn't care for moveset. Stakedriver is a nice quick weapon for a quality build. Amygdalan arm is one of the top 3 DLC weapons (Church Pick and Boomhammer are the others). Always a fan of great hammers and the arm felt so much better than other options.
