Live A Live is very good, sometimes I forget I'm playing a 30 year old game because at times it feels like a retro game that was made recently. The element that snaps me back to reality is how brief the scenarios feel, like, this was clearly a game originally made in a rush on the limitations of a 16 megabit cartridge. A proper sequel to the game - and it's central conceit allows a lot to work with, as far as the imagination goes - could be really amazing.

Well Jinbei and Brook were both captains, but then again they were both hand-me-down captains from Fisher Tiger and Brook's old captain whose name I can't remember if it was even said

They're bigger versions of a few specific pokemon. Gumshoos, Alolan Raticate, Wishiwashi/Aquaranid, Salazzle/Alolan Marowak, Vikavolt/Togedemaru (these three depending on if SM or USUM), Lurantis, Mimikyu, Kommo-o, and Ribombee (USUM only)

yeah, haven't seen it, but hearing from the people who have it's basically that it's a regular shonen, but with amazing visuals and with a pretty good execution of the typical tropes

Wonder what would happen with cartoons, since CN as a channel is dying and they were pushing HBOMax hard

Star Vs. had just as much occult stuff and it ran for 4 full seasons, so I very much doubt it had anything to do with that.

The other guess is serialization, but Amphibia is only a bit more episodic and ran for its 3 seasons

I have the digital copy of this game.

Progressed further into the museum. Got all the way to this weird door and then left. Seems like Im halfway through with this palace. I also managed to fuse two persona together to finally make a Lovers persona. Now I have Lovers, Magician and Death. I dont have Fools yet for Ryuji.

I also ran into a treasure demon. I tried fusing him with the persona I use, but Im only level 15 and it said I was too low to use it.

Just one correction, Ryuji is Chariot, not Fool, that's Igor

This is another reason why Alex Hirsch was a genius with planning Gravity Falls to only run for a couple of seasons. It's like walking into a job with your "You can't fire me I quit." moment already planned.

IIRC even then he was so tired after s1 that he was thinking of calling it quits and never finishing the show

Good question, old Disney from the 90s would have at least capitalized on it with a TV series likely, but nothing.

3 episodes in...this show is awesome. I'm going to try to finish binging it before my sub ends. I can see why they said it doesn't fit into the Disney brand though. It feels more like an Adult Swim show.

Both among anime and cartoons, not sure but it's definitely up there. Regular Show and Amphibia had amazing finales too

My least favorite filler arc was the Davy Back arc. Not that it was boring, or tedious, or grating, I just despised the characters. I hated that blue haired bitch with the patronizing voice swooning over Chopper, I hated those evil patronizing Monkeys, I hated their patronizing leader - their whole egotistical attitudes just turned me off from wanting to watch it further.

That one's canon, though it was only 3 games in the manga (the race, the human football thing, and the finale), and Aokiji's arrival happens right after the games (he's the one who allows Ton Jit to leave)
