I liked the battle between Vader and Obi-Wan but everything was meh to bad.

I know that she can't but Reva should have killed Owen and Beru.

I don't like Vader letting Obi-Wan go after burying him, he should have still sensed him especially if Ben was still using the force to keep himself from being crushed.

Vader's Star Destroyer just vanished after Vader takes his personal ship and I call BS. They could have split off and hit both targets or they could have intercepted Obi-Wan when he left the planet.

Overall meh, not as bad as some of the other episodes but still not good. 4/10.

I want to care about the character but I just don't.

From the beginning she seemed a bit too stupid to be believable. I know it's possible but it seems improbable to reverse your car into your instructor's car, but she didn't just do that, she slammed the gas, there are almost 0 situations that would require anyone to do such a thing, much less during a driving test.

I get that it's trying to be "awkward teen" bs but come on. And then neither vehicle had sustained any damage, but his was being towed away?

Yeah yeah, kids show, things don't have to be super serious, but come on if they can't even make something minor like that believable then should I just expect any random thing to happen because it's a kids show?

The overbearing parent thing was quite nice and very relatable.

I like the random effects that they use to "enhance" scenes, I don't like them when she's doing them in her head. It makes me worry that if she were in a dire situation she might just go daydreaming and mess something up.
Thus far I don't think she's responsible/mature enough to wield any power and in ep 2 they show that she's not good enough to be a hero if all she cares about is the fame and attention.

I'm still watching the whole season and hoping that her character improves but right now she's the worst part of the show, even her tech-y friend is a lot better.

More importantly, there's a star destroyer off planet. Couldn't they just send some tie fighters after the 2nd ship?

Well I can't speak to how drained he "could" be. I just don't see it happening but that's what they went for. Everything else about that scene was cool.

And yeah those guys should have been overwhelmed with just one Star Destroyer.

How did he convince her of doing something she had been plotting all along?

It sounded more like a "lets both take him down" but clearly that wasn't in the cards. Hell she could have helped Obi-Wan escape and ambush Vader in a small room. It probably wouldn't have worked but at least that would have made sense. I don't even understand why she attacked him when she did, she had no advantage. It was a moronic thing to do. She at least should have attacked Vader when he was pulling down the decoy ship.

That small force was just standing there doing nothing while 1 or 2 big guns were weakening the doors (at best).
If Vader was so impatient he should have gone in first and ripped the doors apart.
The Empire wasn't being impatient by half assing things here, first off the Empire had nothing to do with it, this was Vader, his Inquisitor and some troopers. Apparently a single Star Destroyer houses thousands of troopers and yet they sent in a few dozen to knock on the door? Flood the facility, hit them at every entrance, surround the planet (if you want to get the whole Empire involved), mobilize more troops dammit. This was a pitiful display at best.

Cover the basics like food, water, electricity, internet, housing, healthcare, etc. Then if I want to better my basic living condition, I'll get a job.

I was perplexed as to why they only sent in two ships full of troopers. Like not only is this Obi-Wan, the guy you've been hunting down, this is a base that you want to take and people you want to take. Why didn't you send in every trooper!? Send Tie Fighters and other units, you have to have stronger guns than those to blow down a few doors.

There was a lot of stupid but I did enjoy watching Vader pull down that ship and tear it apart. I didn't like how the other ship just noped out so quick and Vader did nothing about it. So the pilot in the first ship is screwed though, right?
I don't get how Obi-Wan got away from the two troopers and why there were only two escorting him (or why they escorted him inside to begin with).

TLDR: I liked it but it was full of stupid.

Eh I'm unconvinced. If Will (thanks for reminding me of his name) popped into her room at least once, he'd have noticed her diorama. I'd imagine that he'd correct her to avoid any sort of humiliation.

Yeah they clearly do but El seems to be the one that gets most upset when she us lied to I'd like to think that she wouldn't do something that she doesn't like done to her. And again I still don't know why she did that, I don't think they gave any explanation at all. I guess she wanted to show how well she'd been adapting? But she could have shown that any other way.

I've only seen 5 episodes and I'm a bit confused. Couldn't her "brother" (I forget his name, I really don't care) have told her that she misunderstood the assignment? She'd still get bullied but it seemed kinda shitty to not correct her and help her, they're in the same class.

The drama in the roller rink could have been avoided if El didn't lie to her BF and I still don't understand why she even did that. Wasn't "friends don't lie" a thing for her/them?

I've been okish about everything else.

I already forgot what you're reffering to but he doesn't seem to struggle at all with the water coming in through the window. By that I mean he held it off immediately, the struggle to continue to hold it make sense since there's probably a lot of pressure but then he channels it perfectly to break in where the Storm Troopers come in.

I find this a bit inconsistent to say the least.

I can almost excuse it as the chaos of alarms going off and the Imperials rushing around to their stations causing them to not be focused on other individuals, but that was still pretty bad. Even just piggy-backing her under the cloak would have been less obvious.

You say "almost excuse" but I have to disagree, the Storm Troopers that went swimming with the fishes were rushing around but the alarm should at the very least mean "high alert", I would think that a Storm trooper that didn't have the time to put on one of his boots would be suspicious, but they came up with this? at least shove the girl into a hollowed out bucket droid or something (gl finding one I guess?).

They even had Tie Fighters on that base yet none were mobilized when the alarms went off and none were used when they saw that there were speeders.

I want to like Reva but I just can't. Like to me she is the one inquisitor that makes sense, yes she's impulsive but isn't that a trait to Dark Side users? All the others are just holding her back. What I don't like is that she's always right or in the right place at the right time. Like sure someone can be good, but not that good all the time. She knew who to press with Owen, she knew almost everthing about the guy.
She did quite well with the bounty hunters in episode two but her being up on the rooftop didn't make much sense, hight was clearly not an advantage since the rooftops blocked the view of most of the city, Leia and Obi-Wan just happened to be getting shot at on the rooftops, lucky her. I don't like that she "killed" the Grand Inquisitor and there were no consequences of that... She knows which house to check out in episode 3, she found the hidden room too easily, she got ahead of Leia in the tunnel somehow.

Honestly the only person that I think that has done better than Reva has been Tala but for legit reasons. I think her character did a great job BSing her way into the base and BSing Reva during that little confession/interrogation/distraction but it just wasn't enough to outsmart Reva. When Tala admitted to being a spy I almost spit my drink, but then she gave a really convincing story (the best lies are hidden behind truths), But Reva still managed to out Big Brain Tala. Like god damn can Reva fail at something directly? Every time Reva has "failed" thus far has been because someone either got in her way and stopped her or someone else failed outright.

The whole show has been a miss for me. The only "good" episode was the first and it wasn't that good to begin with either.

The idea was that she is required for his shenannigans sometimes (something that pisses her off or messes with their marriage), but not required for all of his own shenannigans. It's obviously worded poorly but I'll leave it like that.

All natural "god dammit man, you stink". It really does grab people's attention.

Bart is annoying but Lisa tends to make an episode boring.
Maggie brings little to the table but can make a scene more fun/interesting. Marge would be my second pick since she's mostly there to nag but she is often times required for Homers' shenannigans (but obviously not required). Homer is simply the best part of the show.
So first to go is Lisa then Marge, then Maggie and finally Bart. Leave Homer be.

I mean conceptually I prefer something like this compared to a miniseries in the middle of an established character's life with zero stakes.

Which now has even fewer stakes given I imagine this confirms that Reva survives the series.

It could be about her troubled youth.

I may not care for the character but I'll still watch it for teh lulz.
