I went several times as a young kid. It was basically an arcade then, I remember playing a lot of Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. Mario Bros., Buster Brothers, Pac Man, This weird pirate game I can't remember the name of, etc. Yea, they had ball pits and skee-ball, but I rarely went for those.

Once I was 8 years old though, I stopped going in favor of Putt-Putt, and never went back. I highly doubt I would have liked it the way it is today.

My uncle would let his cat out during the day when he lived in the country. It would hunt and kill field mice, then put them in a pile on his porch. By the end of the day, there would usually be 8-10 dead field mice sitting in a pile.

My mom had a half pug half german shepherd mix (imagine how THAT night went, LOL). It actually looked like a tiny german shepherd, but the problem was it had all of the breathing and eating problems that pugs have even though it didn't look like one. We ended up having to give it back to the shelter because it was too hard to care for (and because the previous owners kept it as an outdoor only dog and neither of us were disciplined enough to house train it at the time).

Out of the trilogy, I liked the first game the most. Probably because it was the most like an RPG and the choices seemed to matter much more than later games. Also I liked how the energy weapons actually acted like energy weapons vs. typical guns. It made you balance how you used your weapons rather then just picking the "best" one and sticking with it the rest of the game. And while the mako sections were a bit repetitive, they were way better then surveying in 2, or "Marco Pollo" in 3.

Then again, I think he's overrated as fuck, so I don't really follow his work all that closely. So maybe is fanbase is mostly hipsters who all love his more obscure stuff.

It had popularity in the cosplay scene (cheerleader with a giant chainsaw, how could it not?) and it inspired the look and presentation of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad (James Gunn said as much). But as far as a game it had a cult interest at best. Even compared to games like No More Heroes, Killer 7, and The Silver Case. I would even argue Killer is Dead is more well-known as a game.

Jon only does videos when he feels passionate about it. Sure, he makes a ton of money doing it but you get the feeling he would still be doing it even if he was pulling in only a couple thousand viewers (just with much lower production quality). That means people enjoy his videos more.

Really, it is more a matter of what you consider more work: Booting your computer twice once in a while or having to check all your connections. Either way, it is not causing major/expensive damage.

Might have to check the motherboard manual, it can mean many things. Usually it is just a connection issue, meaning that the CPU might not be seated correctly or one of the pins are bent. Could also be a loose connection from the motherboard to the PSU.

Overall, just a minor problem, nothing serious.

Do you really think the victims have access to news? For that matter, do you think the smugglers aren't asking for money upfront so that they still get paid when something like this happens?

If someone is willing to be packed in a trailer for hours on end just to escape whatever situation they are in, it is highly likely they don't even have access to basic necessities like food, water, and shelter let alone news. That is what the smugglers are taking advantage of.

Well, they'll definitely try salvaging WoW because its moneymaking potential is huge, but I don't think it's impossible for a Warcraft 4 and WoW to coexist.

Dunno if Microsoft's executives will want to invest on reviving Blizzard's dead RTS franchises, but I think they will see the potential in it after the success of reviving Age of Empires, so... Why not?

To put it into perspective: It was 10 years between when Blizzard released the first Warcraft and when they released WoW. When the 10th WoW expansion comes out, WoW will be about 20 years old. In that time, Blizzard only released Starcraft II + expansions and a few "remasters" as far as RTS games.

It is safe to say if they do revive those dead RTS franchises, it probably won't be the same people making them. Not necessarily a bad thing, Doom (2016) was a completely new team and that game ruled. But it is still worth being skeptical about.

The pools, she estimates, might cost about $80,000 for an average sized pool of 18 by 4 metres, while a conventional pool might cost between $50,000-$60,000.

i also haven't read anything about it decreasing your property value lol

Pools in general decrease property values because you are decreasing the potential market of your house. If people don't want pools and want something like, say, a garden or a large patio, it makes it harder for them to justify buying your house. Really, any large addition to your backyard that requires extensive amounts of work to remove decreases the property value. Having a fruit/vegitable garden is probably the most environmentally responsable while being easy to replace for the next owner of your house.

and it's impossible to buy homes rn idk why you're talking about me making some type of interstate move just to live near a beach instead of buying a natural pool. that's even less cost effective.

Probably something you should have thought of before you bought your house. :)

Pools are expensive (natural ones over 50% more), require tons of maintenance, and bring down your property values. If you want to swim, just live near (not on, that is insanely expensive) the beach.

Oh wait, you live in the desert. Ugh.... swim in the sand?
