The music for Star Wars carried the entire series to continued relevance imo.

If Star Wars had a standard fare soundtrack for movies of its time, I highly doubt it becomes the cultural juggernaut that it did.

The music adds so much emotional depth to the going ons of the films, it's insane and is a true testament to Williams' score and talent.

I've always thought the same thing. I think if the OG Star Wars had a mediocre soundtrack, the movie would have flopped. When I watched it for the first time several years back, the only thing that really kept me engaged was the music. I think even some of the actors (Ford I think) didn't even believe the film would amount to anything.

I was leaning towards the Marines, but then I reread the prompt and it says the British will surround them. That's going to greatly change the dynamics on the battlefield. It'll greatly reduce the odds of a bullet penetrating several soldiers. This translates into ammo supplies being that much more critical. And I think that's what's going to do them in. Each Marine has to kill 166 British soldiers. Based on the numbers I've read here, each Marine will barely have enough ammo even if each bullet translated into a kill.

I think if the British are quick to adapt to the situation and focus on a battle of attrition, they could have a realistic chance.

But since I have no military experience, I'm not confident in my answer.

Logistically, it'd be a nightmare. There are too many places that don't allow dogs. It'd quickly become annoying having to deal with management all the time.

The problem I'm seeing is the fall of democracy. We have a treacherous ex-president that openly does Russia's bidding, and half the country supports him. Despite his completely overt attempt at overthrowing the government, he proceeds to not face any legal consequences whatsoever. Law and justice are now just antiquated concepts in this country.

The environments in this game are some of the best I've seen in recent memory. Everything is so rich with detail. The pacing is great and the levels are packed with so much diversity. It's pure gameplay with no fluff. Essentially the complete opposite of all the open-world games that have plagued this generation. This game feels like something that could have existed on N64 or Gamecube. Brings me back to the time of great 3D platformers. Sadly I don't think this game will get the attention it deserves. Puts Mario Odyssey to shame IMO.

Dragonball Super. I put it off for so long because of how terrible GT was. Feels so great to have more quality DB content to consume.

I can't really blame anyone for staying out of it when you consider the legality of it. Are you just going to march on over there and start beating up the drunk women? I'm not sure the law would allow me to do that. And even if it did, if the media catches wind of what you did, you know your name will be smeared across the internet for being a women beater. So it's really a lose/lose situation.

Hard tacos are terrible. You pinch them too hard, the shell cracks, and all your ingredients fall through. Soft tacos are the correct choice.

I actually like driving. The problem is all the other cars on the road.

Here's the plan, everyone goes one round. Then we close it up and hide it somewhere for 10-20 years. Learn exact dates and winning numbers for lotteries, check out stock prices, crypto, etc. Then play and finish the game. Afterwards everything resets to when you started, and now you have a lot of useful information for the next 10-20 years, that could turn 1 million into billions. At some point things would start to change, but by that time everyone and their families are set for life

Wow, now there's an exploit I've never thought about. The only downside is how do you cope with going through 10-20 years of a life that you know will disappear. Not to mention, it'll be mentally jarring when you deal with friends and family and have to keep track of which memories belong to each timeline. If I had to guess, I think a loss of that magnitude would drive anyone to an extreme form of depression. I just don't think the mind is wired to handle that kind of scenario.

We didn't get a TV. Some lady just walked into our class and informed us about what was happening. I remember not taking it too seriously. I thought it was just a typical plane crash. I have Verizon Fios. It's about as reliable as I could ask for. There may be a brief outage once a year or something. But otherwise it always seems to work flawlessly.

I've always wondered, what would happen if you just sped through the game? Each player just immediately rolled the dice when it was their turn, instead of waiting out whatever plague fell upon them. The game could be over in less than 60 seconds that way. I doubt the ancient voodoo priests that created the game would have thought to put in a turn buffer.

Gambling is just one of those addictions I'll never understand. I think I've probably lost like $40 over the course of my life and that was enough. I found no pleasure in throwing away my money. You just have to understand that statistically you're not going to come out ahead. If everyone could, casinos wouldn't exist. You have to realize you're not special. The laws of mathematics will not make an exception for you. The greatest win you can hope to achieve is to never play again.

It's always going to be OoT for me. It just had the perfect balance of everything. The pacing was perfect, the dungeons were the most memorable. The OST was the best. It just nailed everything. MM is the only one that can give it a run for its money.
