I suppose so, but I enjoy his writing style enough that I'm not really bothered by it. I wouldn't call it a flaw or anything.

Gormenghast, by Mervyn Peake

Gormenghast might be the wrong kind of fantasy, but the first book(Titus Groan) is my favorite fiction book. Chronicles of Amber is just a fun, easy read that you can blaze through and be entertained by. I used to compare it to Chronicles of Narnia since it involves traveling between modern day earth and fantasy worlds, but I haven't actually read Narnia so that's where the comparison ends.

Another Disney+ Marvel series.

Starting a new AMC+ show called That Dirty Black Bag. It's a western starring Dominic Cooper, Travis Fimmel, and Aiden Gillen. The first episode was pretty good. Other than that still watching TWD and Peaky Blinders. Oh, Outlander just came back too. The Last Kingdom final season is out but I haven't started watching it yet.

Pretty sure they set a record for how many times they said Fuck in the first episode. It's one of my favorite shows. If you make it to the end just don't forget there's a movie to watch that came out a few years ago.

How often are you opening winrar that you felt the need to buy the license? You don't even have to open winrar to extract or create archives. Just use the right-click menu in the file manager.

Have you tried running Cyberpunk? That was the first game I ran that was a clear slap in the face that I need an upgrade. Ran like a fucking slideshow for me. I can actually run Elden Ring pretty well despite not meeting the minimum requirements. I saw a video of the game running on my GPU and there was practically no difference in frame rate between all the graphical presets. That does kind of seem like a sign of poor optimization.

One time I got a summons in the mail and I threw it in the garbage. Haven't heard about it or been called again since.

I disagree. It's hard to get hardware at close to MSRP these days, but not impossible. Entry level RTX cards are supposed to be about $350 MSRP. Even low end cards by today's standards can run modern games at 1080p. Even at inflated prices I'm pretty sure you could easily get a mid-range GPU for $500. Maybe we differ in what we consider mid-range.

I cut the anti-vaxxers in my family out of my life long before I knew they were anti-vaxxers. Just not my kind of people in general. That's most of my mom's family except one aunt and uncle. They're all rich too, so you know why they think everyone's a commie.

I finished Vikings: Valhalla. It's pretty good, but it kind of reminds me more of The Last Kingdom than Vikings. The Righteous Gemstones and 1883 are over, which leaves me with The Walking Dead. They're splitting the final season into 3 parts though so it still won't be over until later this year if not some time next year. The first episode of the final season of Peaky Blinders is out. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm sure it's awesome. Curious to find out how they explain the death of the actress who played Polly. She had breast cancer and didn't tell anyone so it was unexpected.
