I'm still going through Ys IX right now, only at chapter 6 but as of right now it's probs my least fav of the Ys games since they introduced the party system.

Saruei's is my fav rigging.
GirlDM and Snuffy also pretty good.

I voted Hollow Knight, but Cave Story is my fav game on the list i just don't think it's a Metroidvania.

I'd imagine the exclusivity clause is company specific. Some other vtuber companies probs have one in, Hololive almost certainly doesn't have exclusivity into their contract considering Kiara, Calli, Choco, Mel, Noel, Matsuri, Moona, Risu are all active on other accounts. There's probs some more talents, but they're the ones i'm aware of.

Usually, talents can indirectly acknowledge who they were in the past life. Millie was Lyrica previously, and she seems to have done everything possible to wink at that but has never directly acknowledged that she was Lyrica. Similar stuff with Rushia, Aloe, and Coco after graduating from Hololive.

This was quite a while ago and i wouldn't be able to find a clip but there was a stream where Mysta/Nina were chatting together (others may have been there as well idr) and he just randomly brought up that he hit a milestone number of members.

Felt like he was bringing it up to brag a bit. It was weird coz i don't think i've ever seen any vtuber bring up how many members they have, Nina clearly wasn't expecting it and personally i felt it was a bit rude bringing up how well your membership is doing in front of his EN seniors who were getting a bit eclipsed at the time due to the success of Luxiem.

I don't want to get all armchair psychologist but i think he's fairly insecure, and probably likes using his high numbers for validation. Similar things use to be said about Kiara before she hit 1m tho i don't think she was as bad as Mysta is. Think it's worse when he's with Nina coz she seems to enable him being open about his insecurities.

When he's great he is great, but yeah. He has low moments.

And personally, i find to Finana to be a brat lol. To some that probs adds to her charm but she comes across irresponsible and self centered. That kinda attitude can add a lot at times (especially in collabs) e.g. the egg, getting Fulgur to sing My Humps with her during her unarchived Karaoke, dragging Pomu into an impromptu collab with Reza when all 3 were playing Minecraft and Pomu felt pretty awkward. But there's also shit like ruining the planned 10+ Minecraft kickoff collab, popping off on twitter about fanartists not including her.

Not particularly rigid. Mysta, Rosemi, Luca, Vox and Nina could all move about a lot depending on my mood and their recent content.

Can be hard to rank them due to collabs as well, Finana's solo stuff is generally pretty whatever but she's been the star of so many collabs (especially pre Ethyria) that it's probs a bit harsh to have her that low.

Worth noting that I'll watch pretty much anyone if they're doing something interesting tho. I watched both Yugo's karaoke and Reimu's fnaf stream yesterday, both over Fulgur playing Ai.

Saruei is my fav 2d model + rigging combo in the EN space by a lot.
Snuffy and Girl DM all have incredibly good rigging, but I like their models less.

Finana is celebrating 300k subscribers and did a small totsu that only had Fulgur and Millie in it which lead immediately into an unarchived karaoke.
Fulgur got forced into hanging around and doing a duet with Finana coz Finana wanted to do My Humps as her first song but didn't want to do both singers part.
Shit was hilarious, like a Dad/Older Brother forced to do it at his daughters/younger sisters birthday party. Got an encore any everything, they went through it twice.
Still got no fucking idea why he tried as hard he did to debuff himself by making him look like an over the top edgelord beofre he debuted, dude is such a bro.

Sonny is super tired for this so he doesn't chime in that much. Uki was fucking hilarious in ghost chat, it just wasn't clipped. The one where Rosemi was an imposter was pretty fun because Fulgur made it well known early on he was sticking by Rosemi as his buddy that round and Rosemi clearly didn't have the heart to kill him (Rosemi wasn't streaming her POV unfortunately). There was one round where he spends like a full minute running away from Shu after catching him vent which was funny, and the Fulgur/Vox imposter round where he doesn't realize Vox got Guardian Angel'd so assumed he was throwing were also pretty funny.

And not so much a clip, Yugo's acoustic karaoke is probs the best karaoke i've ever listened to would really recommend it. Not a huge fan of Yugo thus far but that stream was incredibly well done. Clearly very talented, just fairly inexperienced as a steamer.

Enna, Millie, Pomu and Fulgur would probs be my favs from NijiEn.
Niji generally seems to place more of an empathisis with chat interaction than Holo/Vshojo does for better or worse. So if that's what you like you're following the right people. Some of them are able to balance it well even when playing games, Fulgur and Rosemi are streamers who immediately springs to mind who manage to have a lot of interactions with chat without ever letting it detract from their gameplay. Some of them don't, Millie and Petra are ones who are constantly glued to chat and often their gameplay suffers because of it.

Not so much a discussion about the show itself, more about the first 8 words of the topic title so ignore the first part if it derails what you're trying to discuss.
Mr Robot's S1 was heavily discussed and hyped at the time, i think i found out about it because it beat Netflix's Daredevil for best new show of 2015(?) on Reddit's tv subreddit. Not that impressive in hindsight but very impressive at the time due to how hot Netflix originals and the MCU were at the time, and how the first series of Daredevil lived up to that hype.
The first half of S2 cooled it down a lot though, that part is a lot better to marathon than it was to watch weekly. The pace is very slow compared to S1 and it feels very repetitive until the prison reveal.
Still, i think describing it as a show that no one talks about is waay too far, would put it around the same level as stuff like Fargo and The Leftovers in terms how it was received and the following it has. Would probably give that title to something like Kingdom or Line of Duty.

Full on agree with the cinematography and camera work, there's a fairly unimportant scene early on in series 2 where some rich guy whose working with the police has to put on the Mr Robot mask and burn a load of money in a park at night while Phil Collins plays in the background. Don't even remember the full context of that scene (think it may have been the opening or closing scene of an episode), but fuck me has it stayed with me. Beautifully shot and edited.
