IF they just want sex (which is all a lot of men want) then hook-up culture is huuuuuuuuuge. And due to most marriages ending in divorce and most husbands/fathers having to pay for their wives and kids. There's a tremendous finianical risk connected with a long term relationship. So as a result the only men seeking serious long term relationships are:
Both of these are going to be smaller figures than they were 50 years ago. This isn't as big of an issue for women. As progressive as society is (which is debatable in of itself) men are still expected to be the breadwinner, men are expected to pay for women and children after divorce and abortion rights are going backwards not forwards. And I think we've created an explanation. There's probably a commity. Every time God wants to do something he has to run it by a committee of Angels and Prophets before he does it and as a result it gets nixed all the time or comes lates or seems totally random and stupid. I mean imagine you were Q from Star Trek. Imagine all the shit you would you do. Now imagine you had to run every use of your powers by a committee before you could use them. What would you even get done? Suddenly the Earth and universe and chaos and nonsense and lack of a plan and stuff that doesn't add up makes perfect sense if you think of it in the realm of God being President and there being some kind of congress who blocks everything he does for various reasons.
