i woke up and found an email that was sent at 3am by the principal saying a teacher had texted her earlier that evening saying "she is resigning." and that she is accepting her resignation effective today and for us to delete account and everything.

but then she included the "Resignation" and it was basically her going "hey just wanted you to know sooner than later that i will be moving on to another job for my mental health and growth. we can talk more tomorrow"

sounds like the principal was just like "2 WEEKS? MORE LIKE 2 HOURS YOURE GONE!!!!"

so right now my wife and i have one kid, and we have a 2000 acura tl. its fine but the back lacks a lot of space and putting him into his baby carrier is a pain.

we plan on having another kid next year so we're thinking its time to get a bigger car.

we're thinking the classic honda CRV. ive seen a lot of used ones going for around 8-9k with like 100k miles on them. that's barely broken in for a Honda!

but the Rav4 also looks like a great option.

Honestly the lack of fan is a game changer for me. My pc fans are annoying af. Using some stupid noctua fans running at 800 rpm most of the time.

yeah ive seen some tests. yes it thermal throttles itself to not turn into a ball of fire, but the performance isn't that bad.

i got it so i can play some games on it on the go but i mean, im not going to be doing a giant alliance raid in FF14 on the go. i have my gaming PC for that.

but like. it was just a fire in a pan. it didn't spread. in fact, it was burning out very quickly. i just blew it out like a candle. crisis averted.
