Either way I see pros and cons to open carry. Main pro imo is most people who have criminal intentions ain't gonna advertise the fact they have a gun till its time to do what they are gonna do. Cons I feel it's easier to either disarm a open carry person or at least them be among the first targets to eliminate a threat. Another pro is it's usually easier to draw your weapon from open carry. But personally if I had a gun on my qnd found myself in q situation to use it I'd focus on finding cover first if possibe

Made me think for some reason of a guy I went to basic with for my job. One of the reasons he quit being a cop was he was tore up with guilt for shooting a guy who ended up not having a gun. Thing was he was justified. Dude had a what looked like a assault rifle. Would not drop it when order to and he turned towards him like he about to fire. Turned out to be a airsoft rifle or something.

But he said he couldn't get over it. Figured the guy was intoxicated on something. Cause all he was doing was holding this rifle and staring at a house in the middle of the night.

This idea that someone not making eye contact with you is "disrespectful" or "insulting" is simply a power trip.

there are plenty of people who just avoid contact either by looking at their smart device or even funnier, the people who straight up stare anywhere but at you, during conversation. Must be anxiety or something.

I make eye contact talking but it's brief. 4 to 5 seconds look around then back to eye contact. Rinse and repeat. Too long and it just feels awkward

It was my first full Zelda. I played some of the other ones, but didnt do much. I liked using the Pegasus boots to catch that one guy. And a few other things. But OoT was the first time I really played through Zelda

I remember it like yesterday. Grandad took us out and let my brother qnd I pick a game a peice. My brother got OoT I got battle tanks.

I'm a far bigger zelda fan now. He's maybe played OoT majoras mask and botw. I've played and beat every console entry except wind waker. Then LA the oracle games and link between worlds. And most of Minish cap.

I'd probably do it though. As im.not well off but I'm doing OK. If I where poorer I'd take the money without a thought. I've been legit poor before. It was my first zelda. My mom swears I played a nes zelda as a kid but I'm sure I'd remember that. I had a zelda audio book as a kid. I do remember that though.

Who says it's just for us even if we are the only intelligent life? I feel our intelligence is actually a double edge sword. Its allowed us to survive despite shitty defense mechanisms. But it's what's allowed us to do as much damage as we have too

While I love zero suit Samus I hated the forces stealth segment cause of it.

And it's more than Samus looks good why I like zero suit Samus. It's always nice to see a character known for being armored head to toe be shown fully outta armor once in awhile.

That one is a mixed bag for me. I loved the looting and trying out different weapons, etc. But the level design was incredibly boring.

I read the topic title wrong.... I guess Archambault Asylum then. Haven't played many metroidvanias outside metriod and castlevania.

Also I didn't try out a lot of weapons I stuck to swords and ocassionly a knife. I just can't picture Alucard fighting with nunchucks or a makes staff.

I only stay on my phone when my mom is rambling on about some story of her past. She tends to tell stories like she's writing a very descriptive novel including tons or irrelevant information. I just keep my ears perked for the relevant relationship. Often times it's a story she's told before too. Which I'm also bad about doing. With other people I might respond to a text real quick and put the phone back down. Depends on if it's something I can respond to in like 3 words or less.

I'm a millennial but I have some old-school values habits etc. As soon as smart phones became common place. My mom was adamant no one would have them out at her dinner table. Dinner was mandatory family time

I played symphony of the night like 20 years late. Game still came across as a masterpiece to me.

Ironically the game that got me into metronidazole was castlevainia adventure. I was in between jobs and desperately wanting a new game. 3ds eshop had it for like 3 bucks I think. Fell in love. Shortly after plated through the nes ones then sotn.

Had played a ps2 one way before but it felt b grade to me. It was the one with Hector as the main character I believe. You could play Trevor in a second playthrough iirc

There are 3 types of smart imo though. Book smart. What most people think of when they think smart. Common sense smart. And street smart. Idk if street smart is the right word. Idk socially smart? Like knowing how to interact with various people optimally to either not get on their bad side or get something you want out of them. Stuff like that

My mom was taking one of the maintained Ferals to go get fixed. About a 15 minute drive out. Went to grab the cat crate out of her car and it fell apart. Cat ran.

100k. I don't aim to live a lavish lifestyle. Don't plan on having kids to pass it along too. 100k now plus I continue working will ensure I live just fine. I'd just continue living like I do outside a few minor upgrades

Like if the mother and kid or father and kid is doing well off but then the absent parent gets a pay raise why exactly should they have to pay even more?. I could see maybe having the absent parent (who's now making more money than they used to) help out more with medical coats should said medical costs be considered necessary.

He's been allowing a Ex girlfriend to live with him and him still support her cause he didnr have the heart to kick her out when he dumped her.

Maybe I was just raised different. My mom never went after my father for child support cause she knew it would break him. Ironically he was the kinda case I felt shoulda been forced to. She left him cause he blew all his money on booze and weed and left his family barelybgetting by food wise. She is also of the belief and preached it to my brother one should not stay in a relationship just cause of a kid. It worked out for him in the end but by no effort of his. The mother ended up leaving him striking out on her own and came back realizing just how much she did for her.

It's kinda like my title at my job I guess. The pay bump really blows. But they expect so much more out of you. Only those with a passion for the job take this promotion. Which actually I feel is the way it should be. The promotion is to be a trainer. Don't need someone who doesn't give a shit training other people. We get some once in awhile that justbwant the title. They never last. Same with me at burger King. I took it just cause why the hell not? Ended up quitting after I realized the pay raise vs my level of care didn't match.

I'm not saying is a good trait or anything. But if a man wants nothing to do with his kids. As Long as they are sufficiently taken care of that's all that matters. Idk what the mothers financial situation was ill give you that much. But if all their needs where being met (I do consider some level of entertainment as a need for a child just to say) I don't have a problem with his stance. It's his choice

I've heard people say before most DC heroes are made by their villains. Aka their popularity stems from how cool or iconic whatever their villains are. Everyone knows luthor Darkseid bane joker catwoman ( I could go on for minutes on batman villains) and as a kid I knew them and who they where villains to. In Marvel I could only really do that with Spiderman and xmen to a lesser degree.

Though not originally DC Shazams main villain I belive is more popular than him. They even decided to keep him injustice 2 where Shazam was not present.

I feel Ideally if the mother (or father in the rare case he takes the kids) is in a certain wealth range like firmly middle class all by herself child support shouldn't be a thing. But if it's the man's choice to not pay child support in this scenario I feel the mother should hold the right to forbid him from having anything to do with the kids.

It's just after a certain point child support feels like it's just there to punish.

I knew a guy in his 40s who refused to raise above being a simple bagger at food lion cause he knew he was just gonna have to pay more child support. As long as the kids are sufficiently taken care of that's all that matters.

Too bad they couldn't get that third game to work with the rest. Could've been the biggest Zelda game of all time. The way the stories flow into each other one way or the other I consider them to be one game. For now I suppose the two still make it pretty big.

Not me. To me it was superior. I liked you got the items outside of the dungeons. Could do the dungeons in pretty much any order. Only improvement to that I can see is have the items hidden in the overworld instead of dungeons or being all bought at a single location.
