The Mario Advance games were my introduction to classic Mario as a kid so I look back on them very fondly and play them all the time.

Definitely haven't aged well though. The annoying voices, cramped resolution, dismal music compression. There's a ton of better ways to experience these games.

Anyone ever have Dirty Dicks?

A friend of mine was raving about it, so I order it yesterday. Curious about it - Ive heard others online say it is one of the better tasting ones out there that has been on Hot Ones.

@The_Popo It has a very fruity, sweet flavor. I did not care for it at all if I'm being honest with you.

Did any snes games that use the special chips like Star Fox or SMRPG make it over to the 3DS shop? Bet they couldnt be arsed to get the emulation polished enough for that considering how late Super Nintendo games came out in the 3DS lifecycle.

Yeah. I've started to pivot a lot more towards Xbox the last two gens. You can count on Sony to always piss away any goodwill they've built with their community.

I've been playing a lot of DS lately. Right now I'm playing an English translation of the third Chibi-Robo game. It's a ton of fun and looks really impressive for DS.

A young guy got fired at my job few weeks ago. Lied about his granddad dying to get out of work. I believe the hiring manager ran into the dead granddad at the supermarket a week later.

Switch is the only console making a splash in Japan. Hasn't the home console market been dead since the mid-2000's there. It's the only reason I give any hope to the rumors of a new Sony handheld.

It's a dungeon crawler. These are very early impressions. It is heavily reminding me of Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. I had a ton of fun with Sorcery Saga on my Vita back in the day.

The dialogue is very sharply written so far. I am enjoying the pixel art and music so far as well. The grid movement is not near as stiff as the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games.

I had a lab of 7 years, lost to cancer. Its whole life was a fight against shedding hair. Its been 2 years and I still find little pieces of him all over the house. But I would do it all again a thousand times for those moments together.

Good for you. I'm glad taking care of a dog's hygiene was not an issue for you. Some people won't be able to handle all the hair (and the piss and the shit and the vomit and the drool and the billions of different ways animals can make a mess/be gross). I think it's understandable.

Being a total control freak to a creature that loves you unconditionally is your call, but a foolish one to make imho. But you do you.

Maybe that shit don't matter to you one bit, it doesn't bother me either. Everyone has their own boundaries about cleanliness though, and it's not necessarily a choice.

I was very happy that I could pop open my four year old budget Acer and up the ram from 4GB to 8GB. Now it's speedy doing lightweight stuff like web browsing and the 1080p panel has aged pretty well.

Get your own tenant, tc. Let him crash in the living room for a few years, then raise his rent also.

That's lame TC. I only pay $500 a month and my worst fear is my landlord decides to raise it.

A Switch 2 is the obvious right call if you ask me. Nintendo should just bring the hardware up to speed some and keep producing compelling first party stuff. They can easily coast another hardware generation on the Switch concept.

I'm about five hours in and it's fun as shit. I still haven't wrapped my head completely around the battle system but I love all the characters and story so far.

I also feel the game looks rather nice for a 3DS game. Certainly more appealing compared to the Switch game. I would love a Switch remake with uncompressed backgrounds of the first game. I never played the first one, scared off by the reputation the second half has.

That first pic is my living room what the fuck.

This gives me Rob Zombie's Halloween vibes with the trailer park trash and self loathing. Hopefully it'll have a little more sincerity and nuance. Oh and hopefully it's real.

Funny because I hate the puff version. They actually remind me of the habanero Cheetos that were around for very brief stints of time in 2017 and 2018 that I loved to death. Very tame but delicious heat.
