I think I noticed Batman's too. It just doesn't come up as much as a stage maybe. When I think of boring-ass BGM in a fighter I do think of modern MK, so I guess it's not surprising.

I always notice the motif from the Steven Universe theme and that's it.

I think I decided against buying the pre-battlepass because I read that it requires nearly doing as many challenges as possible every day since earlier launch and I don't really approve of it. Still kind of thinking of one of the Founder's things, likely the $40.

I justified it as buying the game for $60 and 2 season passes for $20 each.

This isn't a game I would buy full price along with two season passes right now.

Uh, I don't think so. There's the ability to choose your teammate's perks which depends on their actual loadout at the time, meaning they can disappear afterwards. The weird thing is you cycle between slots to place them in as the categories.

You can invert neutral and side. Independently for ground and aerial now. But it's still confusing. Some side air moves are air versions of side ground moves and some of them feel like they should be side moves so inverting them feels wrong.

I'd rather be a respected intelligent person than a potential threat to every powerful person and everyone else.

You know, I can't easily determine the answer to this. It's been more than a year since I bought a PS5, so we can exclude that hardware expense. I'd expect I spent more on PC games but it could be Playstation or Switch.

Oh, I get it. You can do two of each those things before landing, so if you jump, airdodge and use specials (up is most practical) twice each before landing it counts.

It doesn't have a reason to fail as bad as NASB. It's F2P and reasonably enjoyable to lots of people while still in beta. Pricing seems dubious but I'd give it time.

Oh, the missions were always mysterious in what causes them to register.

I feel like I should try to unlock some characters in-game first. I was planning to put money in but not $40 minimum in beta.

I'm legitimately stuck on the knockback influence tutorial. I'm holding down-left at lots of angles and still die every time.

One problem that stuck out to me with the controls: I reversed the normal attack inputs because I'm used to neutral light strings and not forward-light strings but that makes all the air versions of those moves different inputs. I think I should leave that one off this time.

I'll definitely download it via PS+ when it releases.

I haven't played er, any of those but I'm fairly sure they're better than AC1. AC1 is lousy.

Yeah, I wouldn't have paid for it normally so I only messed with it a little, but the existing catalog could be better and after a month and a half this is nothing.

Although I think they may just remove stuff eventually like Gamepass. It's not like regular where you claim a few games a month and they're locked to your account whenever it's active. Edit: And looking online, several games have already been removed without much warning, even though the service just launched. I doubt this will affect Stray anytime soon as it's a selling point of the subscription, as a brand new game available with it when it launches.

Well you won't get to keep it once your membership expires, but otherwise sure.

I don't really know about current TVs of other brands as I got this one to replace one that was in use for at least several years, and not an OLED, but that TV didn't have any of these issues.

Not sure you know this, but these settings are usually in the consoles, not the TV. You can enable/disable them on your Switch/Playstation/etc.

I looked for a solution and tried a bunch of different settings on both the consoles and TV, and it seems like your only other option is to disable all CEC-type functionality for that system. Someone described it as a problem LG and console makers still blame on each other instead of fixing.

Specifics:
-Remote isn't great. It's got this IR pointer thing that works well enough for what it is, but the enter button is a scroll wheel you click, and it's hard to not accidentally scroll. Better to use a universal remote.
-Automated HDMI switching. Of course I want the TV to switch to an active HDMI channel when a device is turned on. Unfortunately, that feature is tied to the reverse: switching to an HDMI channel turns on the connected device. And if you turn off the TV after turning off a console, then later switch the TV on, it turns on the console.
-"Automated" settings. I cannot stop the TV from arbitrarily setting the sound on each channel back to Game Optimizer. You know how Game Optimizer audio sounds? Broken. I've read that Game Optimizer video also causes extreme lag instead of preventing it, but I'm not touching it.

Also there are so many settings for picture and audio, it's simply incomprehensible. These screens look different at different angles or under different lighting conditions. Trying to set it to my liking was frustrating until I just settled on something and got used to it.

Wow, it just keeps getting cheaper. Maybe.

It has some software aspects that annoy the hell out of me. Maybe other people just put up with them.
