I'd love to see a Feige cameo in Deadpool 3. That guy deserves to be in one of these movies eventually even though I'm sure he doesn't want to be.

I'm 5 hours into this game and feeling pretty good so far. Been trying to keep out of this topic to avoid even hints of spoilers. But I must say that I was SHOCKED to find out (battle spoilers for 5 hours into the game) that you could switch characters during combat! Finally some more strategy comes to these games!

Alright I have 47 hours in this game and here's my roster:

24 Superman
15 Shaggy
15 Bugs
13 Reindog
13 Lebron

After playing so much Superman it feels like I'm playing Sonic the Hedgehog when I'm playing Shaggy. He's so fast and easy to combo I've been beating pretty much everyone in 1v1s. My last match of the night was a level 24 Batman and I beat him with only 70 damage.

The biggest improvement for me was using my right analog stick for down attacks instead of using a regular down air motion. It keeps you hovering in the air instead of fast falling so you can control your spacing a lot better. Honestly the entire meta feels like spamming down airs so I kinda hope they do something about that. It's also a reason why Superman doesn't feel great because his down air is probably the worst one in the game.

Oh whoops I forgot about that. Also I had LR STR Broly and INT Broly on rotation for the entire fight without realizing they weren't linked together so I wasn't really paying attention too hard.

But either way I think a Whis would have kept me going long enough to win.

Yeah in my case it was literally the final found and Goku was at half health. I think I was full health and LR AGL UI Goku failed to dodge 3 normal attacks for 300k damage and then LR Broly ate a super attack for 500k.

I was doing LGE Legendary Existence and I tried to use a Whis but accidentally hit the auto battle button and died. Can't say I've ever done that one yet.

I mean people want challenging content so this is what that means. The rewards are so trivial just do it next year when power creep makes it irrelevant.

I didn't do the GoD event until like 2 weeks ago because I didn't find it fun when it first launched either.

Also I'm seriously considering pulling on Raditz considering I have most of cards that would benefit from his 200% leader skill now. But a lot of those cards are not great so IDK.

Going through the same exact dungeon in P4G 10 times is really what did it for me. But I also didn't like the characters or plot either.

Uhh my latest 7 ticket pull on the new LR banner got me:

LR Bojack (5th dupe)
LR new Vegeta
LR SSG Goku (new)

I think that brings the total to 5 LRs from these rainbow tickets for me (I also got new Goku and a PHY Angel Vegeta dupe).

Yeah I started with P5 and had a hard time getting into P4G. I gave up after like 30-40 hours.

Guys I know there is more Star Wars content upcoming that is not taking place during EP3 to EP6 lol.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, I'm just getting sick of this era.

Yes, the Mandalorian is great and I'm looking forward to Season 3. I'm just getting sick of EP3 to 6 stuff.

I've never been big into Pokemon but I imagine this is how people feel when Gen 1 keeps getting all of the attention. Like can we just move on to something else in this franchise already.

I don't play LoL but I did play Ruined King (which also had Illaoi as a party member). Is she more popular than I think or do people not like her getting so much spotlight?

I like Star Wars (although this last 5 years has been rough) and I liked Rogue One but I really do not care about this show.

Can we please move on from Star Wars content that takes place between EP 3 and EP 6.

I died to Bojack's crew in first 2 attempts then in the 3rd attempt he first slot supered my LR Gods for 980k.

Yeah my LRs weren't great either. Angel vegeta dupe, STR FP freiza dupe and last dupe of TEQ goku black. But I'm feeling better about not dropping 300 stones on the banner though.

I think I might have flown too close to the sun with my Superman. I spent the first 2 weeks stomping new players in 1v1 and now I'm only getting matched with the ACTUAL godly players. Like I'm talking Shaggys that will combo me to 60 damage in 1 combo and beat me with 35 damage on their first life or Velmas that I can't even touch.

So matches are either me completely stomping someone or getting completely stomped. There's no middle ground right now.

I'm getting to the point where I might start considering just SDing 2 times if I'm against a Finn player in 1v1s. It does not matter who I'm playing I can't beat him.

It's really the only option otherwise the tournament scene would be dead in the water. Local tournaments need to be able to set up 20 machines to play without having to make sure that every game has all of the characters/perks unlocked.

I mean buying characters probably isn't a deal breaker because other fighting games cost money but not having all of the perks unlocked for every character would be bad unless they just don't allow perks for tournaments.

I was a little disappointed when I invited a friend over so we could play couch co-op duos online and that option doesn't seem to exist on the PS5 apparently. I guess it's something they'll add later?

Baby is probably impossible without 2 PHY LR SSJ4s. Gogeta countered 2 supers and I took out the final phase in 3 turns because both Gogeta's kept doing multiple supers with insane damage. The heal from Goku/Vegeta turning into Gogeta was also pretty necessary.

The only liability is SSJ4 Goku during the AOE phase because he takes 200k if he hasn't supered yet. But after a super he was not taking much damage.

I have a feeling it will be in "Open Beta" for a while actually. I feel like the main reason games do this nowadays is so they can have 2 release dates and generate articles/hype for both.

I could see the shop being released on 8/9 with the first season pass though.

Well the other big gold sink is buying perks for characters. But yeah hopefully the in game shop has some stuff you can buy with gold once it's released.

I liked the parallel of Saul forcing those guys to tell say "we're done" which is exactly what he tried to say to Walt and got punked.

Tickets and 100 stones got me new LR Goku and LR PHY Vegeta dupe. Can't really justify spending any more than that even though I would like that Vegeta.

My part 3 LR banner luck has been pretty good so I might do some pulls.

Played a few singles after we ended Ermine and now my Superman is rank 200 in duos and rank 42 in 1v1!

GG! I think we only lost 1 game against that Taz player but we beat them pretty bad the next game.

Of the recent Tales games I've played my rankings are:

Zestiria > Arise > Berseria > garbage > Vesperia

I liked the combat in Zestiria the best and I thought the cast was pretty good too. I know I'm in the minority though.

Yeah I'm on Steam so I'd need to do the WB Friends thing I'm sure.

I'm down to play whenever but I usually play at night because of my work schedule. So I'll find my friend code or however you add friends in this game later.

This isn't a game I would buy full price along with two season passes right now.

Okay! I've already put 16 hours since it came out less than a week ago so I'll be playing it for a long time.

Just pick all 3 of your perks in quick succession without pressing anything else. It looks like you're scrolling up and down with the D-pad or something so you keep assigning new perks over your old perks.

I justified it as buying the game for $60 and 2 season passes for $20 each.

Broke down and bough the $100 founder pack. I figure I'll be able to spend gold on perks if I'm buying characters with tokens.

Also hit rank 135 in 1v1 with my Superman tonight!

It's very mediocre lol.

I love JRPGs too but I couldn't find anything enjoyable after like 4-5 hours.
