Speaking of witches, does anyone know what this movie I think is? I can't for the life of me think of what it is if it's live action or animated or if I'm just completely making it up. But basically it's these witches who came back to the modern age from centuries earlier and they are trying to scare or eat kids, I can't remember, so then the movie happens and the kids who are the stars teach the witches about Halloween so then the witches stop being bad and look forward to scaring kids on Halloween each year and give out candy and such. I don't know if it's a TV show or movie or anything else about it. I'm just remembering that for some reason.

that sounds like one of the treehouse of horror episodes where marge and her sisters are really witches in salem in the past

i watch hocus pocus 2 every year in october
so far it looks like it matches the tone of the original
the one thing im worried about is that they might try to make the witches sympathetic like they did with malefiecient and cruella de vil

they were introduced in the first movie murdering a little girl and stealing her youth to become young again
they do not need a sympathetic backstory
they were fun because they were over the top villains

id be fine if helena and jake never reappeared
but id like sheva to show up again.

natalia from revelations 2 would be 21 by now so she could be a playable character in another game and finally resolve the cliffhanger about her character

its better with the zodiac age because of the speed up

the skill that makes your partner heal a health bar for you when they rescue you from dying state is super useful

its hilarious that in leons story every civilian leon and helena meet ends up dying
they meet a man and his daughter, they die
they meet a group of people in a gun shop, they all die
they go to a church full of survivors, they all die
they ride an airplane to china, everyone on board but them dies

sherrys campaign was my favorite one (i refuse to call it jakes campaign. she was the legacy character, it was her story overall)
he just got top billing to please depressed wesker fans who never got over the end of RE5

also kaido is stronger than sanji
and zoro is stronger than sanji

Even Jolyne had the least powerful MC stand in Jojo (though she had the highest battle intelligence)

joseph may not have had a stand in part 2 where he was the main jojo
but he did get a stand and its the weakest stand any jojo has gotten
jolynes stand is stronger than purple hermit

and what stone free lacks in offensive power it makes up for in just how versatile it is
put her in almost any fight in the franchise and her stand is versatile enough for her to come out a winner

just not against dios time stop that is just to overpowered

6s system feels so weak. Like guns feel soft and the melee attacks are slower with less oomf to them. More so theres no upgrading shit ans the last difficulty removes skille.

there are skills that raise your melee damage and your weapon damage as well as offer a variety of other effects
plus with the counter system once you get the timing right you have a melee attack that insta kills an enemy most of the time
and the skill system has upgrades

riley and illyria may have been the most boring characters in buffy and angel to ever be in the opening credits

jake muller looks cool, has a voice actor im a fan of, looks great with his shirt off
i should like him but i just cant stand him.

part of it might be because i hate that every other cutscene has sherry lose her competence to have to be rescued in some way by jake even though her wolverine healing should actually make her the more effective of the 2

i feel its a cheap way to hype up his character at the expense of hers

thanks to holiday themed horror i can watch a cheesy slasher movie for every major holiday

anyway when it comes to fictional animated characters i tend to judge how they are drawn when i hear people are attracted to them
like for example if someone found jotaro kujo attractive in jojo part 3 i wouldnt care because even though he is supposed to be around 16/17 he is drawn to look like he is 30
so they are attracted to the image of an adult because he is drawn to look like an adult

where as if someone found Jr from xenosaga attractive it doesnt matter that he is actually 30 years old. he is designed to look like a 12 year old boy and thats creepy. anyone attracted to him is attracted to the image of a child which is why the she is really a 3000 year old dragon excuse doesnt hold any real weight.

personally i always end up attracted to the older characters in positions of power over others.
like kakashi in naruto, shanks in one piece, and urahara in bleach

as for MLP itself i did watch the first season of it back when it was at its most popular to see what the hype was about and while i enjoyed it just fine i just could never really get super into it so i didnt watch the rest
but i did really like the musical numbers so i did watch all the songs on youtube more than once so i get the general idea of how the story went

the first nightmare on elm street is not just my favorite horror movie
its my favorite movie in general

i want it played at my funeral so its like my family and friends all watched my favorite movie with me one final time
also i want a bunch of kids to be scarred for life from the movie so they never forget me

the best halloween movies are 1 2 4 H20 and H40

also a nightmare before christmas is not a halloween movie

I tried to watch as many horror movies as possible in October. And I make certain to watch one on Halloween. This Halloween, the plan is to watch the 1992 film Ghostwatch. But leading up to that, I'm watching at least four giallo films, Cat's Eye (the Stephen King scripted film), God Told Me To, Dog Soldiers, and Poltergeist.

i always watch hocus pocus in october though. its my halloween tradition.

i grew up loving horror so i use every holiday as an excuse to watch a holiday themed horror movie though.

That's not hypocrisy, TC. They aren't complaining about people being excited for Christmas. They're complaining about people setting up X-Mas stuff so early. You'd have a point if these people were putting out Halloween decorations in July. But they don't.

canadian thanksgiving is in october and it steals focus away from halloween
id rather have thanksgiving in november

evil morty and slightly evilier rick should team up and try to kill each other

in star ocean 1 there were 4 mandatory party members. 8 party slots and about 9 recruitable characters giving you a lot of choices

star ocean 2 only had 2 mandatory party members and even more optional characters to fill those 8 spaces up

then star ocean 3 gave you 6 mandatory characters with only 2 free slots. and only 4 optional party members (seriously its weird nel is optional she is with you for like 70% of the game)

then star ocean 4 and 5 dropped the recruitment system all together

ive liked every RE game ive played and ive played all of them except 7 and 8 and those WII on the rail shooter games

i bought all the switch versions of the games when they were on sale recently
fun fact the switch is the only version of RE6 that lets you change characters costumes in campaign mode
other versions only let you change costumes in mercenaries mode (steam might be like switch im not sure)

its the second highest grossing RE game

piers was the best new character
jake was the worst new character
it was sherry's story she should have gotten top billing

nel who is with you for most of the game is an optional party member
the old shirtless daddy character is in 2 cutscenes and is a mandatory party member
doesnt make any sense (unless you know he wasnt playable in the original japan only version of the game. neither was mirage)

and he carries a sword. has huge muscles. you expect him to be a warrior type character. but his stats and moves are just a carbon copy of sophias who is a mage

mirage is also a clone of cliff in battle with a bit of maria mixed in
but a bit better than cliff

6 sold really well and is a lot of fun

the game expects you to make use of the item creation system to make yourself stronger gear
the in story stuff you get doesnt cut it so if you never use item creation you will always feel super weak
item creation and you can destroy anything with ease

the queen used to be called something else and could only move 1 space at a time making it the weakest piece

then when it got a name change and became the queen it also got a larger movement range and became the most powerful piece
and chess players complained about a woman being the most powerful piece on the board

so yeah in a way its the original video game

just got the phone alert saying one was found dead

oh and this episode beth also learns that her original rick and morty are dead and buried in the backyard

she takes the news well

i have no idea what a trapper keeper is and i saw the trapper keeper episode of south park on its original air date
