If you think gender and sexuality aren't being taught in schools you are delusional. It's just that kid are being taught the "normal" way things are.
No one would bat an eye if a teacher read a story about a girl with a mommy and a daddy who dreamed of being a princess, but tell the same story except with a boy with two daddies who dreamed of being a princess and suddenly it's "unnatural" and "indoctrination" with Fox 'news' calling for book burnings.

If they are old enough to know that boys and girls are different, they are old enough to learn that most of those differences exist on a spectrum rather than everyone fitting into a nice neat bucket.

Their plan is that if you just force the girl to play the mom and and the boy to play the dad that everything will work out "as it should" in the end as long as no one comes along and spoils things by mentioning that homosexual or transgender people exist.

I enjoyed the battles in the demo, but since it doesn't seem like the combat to dialogue ratio gets any better I doubt I will be picking it up.
One hour of battling for 3 hours of listening to dialogue in the demo was a bit much, especially since the story seems very generic JRPG and not anything overly special.

Maybe, though I probably won't pick it up if the gameplay to cutscene ratio isn't a bit higher than the demo.

I wouldn't mind cooking them together, but my family is too picky, with people wanting various combinations of sauce and meat to have one pot that everyone would actually eat.

It is pretty disappointing. Pretty much the only time I ever use incense is when I'm stuck in one place during an event. If I can be moving around I don't really need incense.

Just tell her you don't hate the environment and thus don't use bottled water.

My wife's grandpa is awful at that. And half the time he didn't hear the in-movie explanation for what he is asking about because he was too busy asking the question and not paying to what was going on.

Never had a good tasting burned popcorn piece before.

There is a very slightly level of burnt popcorn that tastes really good, but it is too difficult to intentionally burn a significant amount of popcorn to the correct level without a lot of it being inedible.

It doesn't really matter much since you will be able to customize the look and outfit in the game just like every other recent Pokemon game.

My favorite "reply all" situation was a company wide email welcoming the new CEO, and someone replying to the whole company complaining that the CEO doesn't care about veterans and we shouldn't be welcoming them.

This should carry some weight, coming from America's expert on unprovoked invasions.

Personally I'm hoping they annex Minnesota if Trump gets reelected.

My life has improved greatly by not having to hear anything about Trump's latest idiotic tweet or thinly veiled attempt to turn the US into a totalitarian dictatorship.

I definitely enjoy the book, but the movie is so great that it is kind of hard to top.

I just go to my parent's house and use my dad's copy of turbo tax, then have my dad (a CPA) review it before submitting.

I read a fair amount, but I haven't read any of those.

My wife's grandparent's (who are about 80) have actually given up smoking, with her grandma stopping 5-6 years ago and her grandpa stopping in the last year. Granted, they will probably still suffer most of the health effects of a lifetime of smoking, but at least they managed to quit.

Hurt. Mostly because it is clearly true. But I prefer my wife to continue to lie to me.

Last time I ate at McDonald's I just got an order of fries because they had like nothing vegetarian.
The fries were gross and soggy.

Older people who have spent their entire lives having it drilled into them that being LGBT isn't acceptable are probably less likely to come out than a younger person who grew up being told that it is ok.
