As moderate as they come, which is basically real life AFK from politics until there's a party (system) I see my value systems in. Left/Right dichotomy is toxic, and I don't agree with either side about nearly enough issues to vote for them.

Your mileage may vary. It's nothing like a JRPG, and really isn't much of an RPG at all. I was reminded more of something like the two modern Deus Ex games. It has an open world (albeit, very empty) and a skill tree walled off by allocating certain stats to unlock them / use different gear.

Hot take but for me, personally, I find cyberpunk settings to be as off putting as steampunk. Nothing is more cringe to me than in-universe lingo and swears and everyone is dressed up like a wardrobe was put into an air cannon. I played the 5 minute intro, saw a cutscene of about a dozen missions I'd want to experience playing, felt robbed of that and quit.

Edit: Played it again recently with 1.5 and got about 20 hours in and just got bored. Didn't like Keanu's character or the way the story was headed.

I bartend in a rough area of a rough city. I've gotten more than enough threats to be shot outside after close etc than I'd like to admit. Bumping the odds up for it to actively happen? I'm a dead man. Pass.

Hold Press the message you sent, and there's an option to unsend. It is not unsent if the other person is on Android or an iOS lower than 16.

It's been a long time since I beat it, so my memory is fuzzy, but it's okay. The story is mostly monotone until the last hour or so iirc. Absolutely nothing scary or horror oriented goes on, and solving the puzzles with the weird "portals" and bad physics engine don't bring back pleasant memories.

I think they remastered the visuals a while ago so if it's that version, it's probably worth the $3 to you.

The last arc is a total asspull and left on a cliffhanger for a sequel that never happened, just as a heads up.

Your waitress, waiter, bartender and delivery driver do not make a wage let alone a living wage. Anything you tip is their salary. Yes, it is predatory, archaic and disgusting. No, stiffing them isn't hurting the business that employs them. In fact it's beneficial; those companies have less to worry about on payroll week, and turnover in the food industry can be almost infinite.

Don't order Uber Eats, Doordash, etc. "Delivery Fees" and other pre-tip screen charges go directly to the company, not the driver.

No need to tip on takeout when you pick it up yourself but if you like the place, even a couple bucks to the person cashing out your order goes a long way to restaurant good will.

Don't listen to the insanity of those new clover machines or other tablets. Even 15% is an acceptable tip. 18%-20% for great service. Anything above that should only be reserved for your friend/family, or you're a regular patron or they discounted your order heavily e.g: sitting at a bar, you know the bartender.

CE hates this last point but I'm an 11 year bartender in about seven bars/taverns/restaurants in my time. If you stiff, they will remember. I have seen literal countless forms of petty revenge on repeat patrons stiffing their staff. Some funny, some disgusting. And I can't even imagine what some of these stressed out inner city delivery drivers do if they get stiffed. Make sure your bag is sealed, I guess.

A lot of the depth seems superficial, especially when it comes to kingdom management. I think it's a bit odd that the relationship system can be cheesed so easily. It only takes a few traits and edicts (idk what they're called in-game, stellaris term) to make 95% of your council + vassals adore your player character. But none of it matters except solely to avoid rebellion. My point is, I have a spymaster who can detect hostile nations' own intelligence agency, or steal some tech, or something. If he/she is my +100 friend, shouldn't their efforts go higher than determined by their skill roll alone? Why can't I have my Warmaster or Spy or Lead Diplomat or Bishop talk to me or answer questions about internal affairs? Hey, Ares Facebasher, who would you invade if you could? What army have you heard we can match? Hey, James Bond, who should we spy on? Who has appeared impressionable in my court on the yearly feasts? Etc. There's no agency or interaction with your own kingdom and agents.

A very niche rant, but the inability to interact with dozens of unique characters in your court seems like such a waste. If you don't want to bang, kill or blackmail someone then how /anyone/ feels about you is utterly pointless beyond the risk of rebellion. No wonder the meta is dread + owed favors. It interacts with the only real gameplay mechanic that exists.

I liked the ending more than the last episode of BB, tbh. I guess you can't be upset at marketing but saying "The ending is something we don't think has been done before" and literally everyone for two years guessing Saul goes to prison and covers for Kim was 100% correct.

He's got like a million other court dates coming up and his phone got sent to the Jan 6th committee. He's going to be dragged through hot coals for months/years in court.

Dude doesn't deserve prison for this though, it's why he's not on criminal trial yet. What he deserves to do is pay the families of the victims in punitive damages for his slander/libel/gossip, which is exactly what he's going to be ruled to do.

He doesn't have much money, has a 0% successful defense that he's already run back -- and his lawyers are probably just phoning it in to get their legal fees covered.

I need to cut out vaping too. I've been vaping for about three years now, and it's beyond a daily habit. I can feel myself get "capped" on Nicotine almost immediately, and then I just compulsively vape for the rest of the day every day. I'm making it worse than it sounds, I go through a 50ML bottle in about two weeks so it's not monstrous, but I would love not to have the dependency anymore.

The hardest part for me is finding the time to quit, ironically. I bartend and work 6 days a week / 10 hours a day and smoking is like drinking water in the restaurant industry. It's how me and 90% of my coworkers find time to talk, vent, get some space away from people since there aren't any real breaks.

Tbh, I don't know how it feels to take back over. Passenger syndrome (my own term for it, no context) is how I've lived for decades. Whatever happens, happens, and I'm literally never in control of the outcome.

I stopped playing for 3 months on a SL135, pretty damn long playthrough. I have absolutely zero memory of what I was doing, managed to get back on track for all but two of them.

Last I talked to Rani, I found her doll underground and killed Evil Bladd. Her tower area is empty, no one is on the NPC map to talk to next, and I forget what the bonfire even was where I fought him. The doll is not in my inventory anymore.

Maybe Fia's quest, but the last thing I did was kill Mohg by completing Varre's quest, getting the teleport thing for Mohg, and beating him. This happened after I found Fia in Nokron and exhauster her dialog. I have absolutely no idea where to go next in the underground, do I need to talk to Fia by that root again or something now that Mohg is dead?

Great Traditional Doom. The intro sequence is great, but the song fucking demolishes from 7:30 on.

Teardown wasn't what it was hyped up to be, but I didn't play the 1.0. You only had a few tools to destroy the map and it got old very quickly. The main campaign felt like a combo of a heist/speedrun game.

I never played Planet, but it looks fun. Kind of reminds me of Astroneer or No Man's Sky. If I were to buy one, I'd get that.
