Working at a bank it seems like most of the time the woman is calling the shots and taking any kind of initiative. I can also see in each profile whos the one using the online banking and over the counter channels and who isnt. Usually the woman doing so. To the point where if Im making a financial suggestion Ill initiate it with the wife first. The wife has the bulk of the mental load, coordinating the family and schedule and groceries and bills etc, and the husband is kinda just here as an extra hand and collecting a paycheck.

They also typically are very involved in their local community so that brings exposure and rapport.

Replaying 2 and the whole game comes off as too gimmicky. Cool new weapons and abilities but hardly any time to use them. 3 Peter Puppy levels? Really? The Soil and Sally levels were neat gimmicks but the balloon bomb and inflated head level are aggravating trash. Hardly any bosses and even the finale is a race.

I work for a bank and find that just by virtue of being at a office/desk and minding your business people will go up and expect you to help them. Like they seem to think customer-facing/tellers are the only possible employees a bank has.

I had to do some computer work once and was out of state so I stopped at a local branch to borrow a workstation. People kept wanting help and didnt seem to understand the difficulty there. And even once I caved and printed some ladys statement before realizing I had no idea where the printers were let alone which one it went to. Im like see, this is what we get for badgering me.

Both of my kids are IVF petri dish babies. Part of that process is extracting viable eggs, fertilizing them, and storing those embryos. When the time came we had to decide what to do with the frozen embryos we didnt use.

An estimated 1M+ embryos are currently in storage. If those embryos had personhood rights suddenly, how would that even be handled? And difficulties aside, how would this severely handicap this as a desirable option for couples?

Im in banking and investments though this is not official advice and merely my opinion based off limited info.

I would use the loan and keep your savings, enough for emergencies and the rest invested. I think given a standard time horizon of 3+ years you could easily realize a return on investment greater than the rate you are paying on the equity loan.

Im always hesitant to tell clients to balance transfer their student loans due to unforeseen benefits. Id leave it alone unless the savings are significant enough to you or a budget issue arises.
