Took a hit, but it's not too bad. I'll be glad I kept investing small amounts over a long period of time, when everything bounces back.

Focusing on dividends anyways. I make more than just leaving my money in a savings account.

I reached my pay cap about two years ago. They are considering an increase to the pay cap, but until then I am stuck. The best they do is a few minor perks. They started paying half my phone bill, and internet.

Just had a really fun session. A party member shoved their arm into a sphere of annihilation to get rid of a curse mark. Then immediately another party member had to cut off their own arm to escape a trap. This campaign is brutal, I love it.

Playing tomb of annihilation with my group in a weekly game. I'm having a blast with a warforged, rune knight.

I only started TTRPGs in 2020, but I got the crash course in: 5e, hyperborea, vampire the Masquerade, savage worlds, and Mork borg. Mostly one-shots, with just three longer term campaigns.

Multiple things can affect how an ac works. Sometimes it just takes a long time to cool a room. First time I used mine it took all day for the temp to normalize. High humidity can make it take longer. Bad circulation, poor insulation, open windows/doors, or the unit may just be defective in some way.

If it is cooling close to the unit, try an extra fan next to it for more circulation.

Telekinesis or Time manipulation.

If Time manipulation meant i could pause and restart time, like in Heroes i would probably take that.

Telekinesis could conceivably give you flight and super strength as well. Depending on how much you could lift with it. Just thinking of all of the things they could do in the movie "Chronicle."

I lived in a small town in a mountainous area. We couldn't get cable, they weren't able to lay the lines for it. The one person with a satellite and a heated pool was very popular. It was one high tech house surrounded by farms and 200year old buildings.

None, made a killing and got out before it hit 69k. Knew it would fall, since alot of crypto bros would sell off at 69 for the joke.

TopicCan an ugly PC have high charisma

Absolutely, it can also go the other way. Low charisma may not mean ugly at all. I am currently playing a warforged anthropologist. Really low Charisma, but it is mostly meant to mean that he is off-putting in social situations. A little like Dr. Brennan on Bones, high intelligence, but is so blunt that people tend to take them the wrong way.

Yeah, 20 years may be a bit greedy and unnecessary. But I think 10 is solid. Plenty of time to see where my life is going, and figure out ways to change it for the better.

Only if it's the boardgame version.

Here's the plan, everyone goes one round. Then we close it up and hide it somewhere for 10-20 years. Learn exact dates and winning numbers for lotteries, check out stock prices, crypto, etc. Then play and finish the game. Afterwards everything resets to when you started, and now you have a lot of useful information for the next 10-20 years, that could turn 1 million into billions. At some point things would start to change, but by that time everyone and their families are set for life

TopicI seriously need new friends. Thinking of joining a DND group at my local

I have never played at a comic shop before. But, I highly recommend playing D&D to make new friends. It is how I met my current group of friends. We started a group with random people from work, and are going strong two years later. Currently my best friends now, and we mix it up with axe throwing, bowling, or some other activities every week.

You should be able to find free, or cheap digital players manuals online. Dndbeyond has free basic rules manual you can check out. For me the easiest way to learn, was to just jump in and start playing.
