Its the exact same game with better graphics and a few accessibility options, and a whole mode stripped out for no reason other than greed. the worst type of remake. Should be $40 at most

Its the same game with a little bit more polish. Its an embarrassing cash grab to strip out factions and charge full price for a remaster of a remaster. Of course people will lap it up.

Well its a bit of everything now isnt it. Back then games were both cheaper to make but also impossible to fix after release so you had to get it right, so delaying it until it was ready was an easier sell than it is now.

The cost of games, plus the knowledge you can fix issues between going gold and release with a day one patch (or post launch patches worst case scenario), mean that games dont have much wiggle room for not hitting their deadlines.

I wouldn't say terrible, but there's a bit too much off to ignore. Characters all feel off and underutilized. The Guardians sucked and felt nothing like the interactions from IW/Endgame.

The weirdest thing was how a packed theater barely laughed/cheered outside the space goats and Korg finding a BF. I remember with Ragnarok, stuff like the "OMG, the hammer pulled you off?" had the theater in tears.

I left NWH and MoM pretty satisfied. With this, I left a bit disappointed. Especially the Jane stuff. I was expecting cringe, but instead, it's pretty sad and I'm not sure why they went with that.

Terrible is probably overexaggerated, because it's not a terrible film in the grand scheme of things, but it's so cynical, cowardly and poor compared to most MCU films, and especially compared to Ragnarok

Sure, every movie is in the grand scheme of things, and fuck its a Disney movie, one of the most cynical, money grabbing company in the world, but up until this phase theyve put out a generally good product. Were talking about the 29th entry in like the most successful movie series of all time, its disappointing theyve given up trying and are just cashing in on that cache.

Nope, big fan of the MCU. Hating where Phase 4 is meandering to nowhere though, these low effort films are purely to spin wheels. Its insulting.

The MCU is in a terrible place, completely directionless, soulless and cowardly.

This film takes the cake though, its probably not the worst MCU movie, but its probably the most disposable and low effort.

I know people jump on Marvel for overloading their movies with jokes but at least theyre funny jokes usually, but there is maybe two scenes in this movie where theyre not making quip after quip and barely a handful got a smirk out of me. And the plot is so braindead. Full of the worst type of exposition and happenstance. No one feels real here, sure its a superhero movie but my God theres wooden and then theres everyone in this film.

Throwing a cancer subplot into a film as dumb as this is so shitty too, completely out of place and lame.

I worry for the MCU. Everything in Phase 4 has been pretty lame and theres no great stuff on the horizon. Even Spider-Man was only good because of brining in nostalgic cameos fun but ultimately meant nothing. Its all totally disposable.

The mind trick should just be that, a trick. Sure you could make a weak minded, dumb trooper look the other way instead of looking at your droids, but surely you couldnt compel anyone to do major life altering things like kill themselves or even give up prized possessions like slaves.

Was there even that many bugs in CP2077 after the day one patch compared to other ambitious open world games like Witcher 3 or the Bethesda games? I don't think so, and even then most were harmless visual bugs.

That is of course, if you played it on a machine capable of running it. No amount of bug reporting would have got the game running on PS4 or Xbox One.

This is the problem with Cyberpunk discourse. The two main reasons people were mad was because it didn't run on their machines and the game was missing a bunch of features like basic open world AI, a cop system, etc. Neither of these issues are "bugs". The least of the issues were the bugs.

She seems very eager to do what it takes to get to where she wants to be. Maybe she went digging for that info and she realized why Vader is so obsessed with Obi-Wan and formed her plan.

I also found it weird the moleman was so pro-empire considering the Empire is very anti-alien.

The show is giving me fan movie vibes and its really only Ewan McGregor keeping it looking legit. The Vader costume and lightsabers just dont look legitimate to me, they look cheap and do not give off the cinematic feel of the movies.

Its also quite unsatisfactory even beyond that. Still three episodes left so Ill reserve final judgment until the conclusion but Vader just letting him get away is so lame, but its made worse by their brief dialogue being rote and lazy at best.

McGregor is also coming across as weird. I get theyre trying to show hes conflicted, jaded and such but he barely resembles Obi Wan in tone or action.

* No NPC Day/Night cycle. NPCs spawn and despawn outside of the player's view.

* If an NPC is doing an action, they will do that action forever until the player moves.

* NPCs that are not story/side quest related have one dialog reply.

* If one NPC is assaulted, every other NPC in a large circle around the player will crouch to the floor in the same animation, even if they did not see the original assault.

* NPCs in a car will follow a specific route. If the route is even slightly interupted, for example by your car, they will cease to move forever until you remove the obstruction.

* NPCs in a car will not attempt to move or exit their vehicle if you assault them with bullets/another vehicle.

* NPCs will not acknowledge the player if they run the player over with their car.

* NPCs will not attempt to steal their vehicle back if you steal it from them.

* NPCs will not attack you or defend themselves in any way or form, even if engaged upon with just fists.

* Police spawn around the player's vision when the player is wanted, forever, until they attempt to hide or drive away.

* Police to not attempt to question, warn, or arrest the player for even the smallest crime commited, for example if you bump into them or accidently enter a private area.

* Police are incapable of driving cars and chasing the player if they drive away.

* Police will not attack hostile targets like Gangs if they are not already doing so in an activity.

* Police will know if the player has attacked an NPC in the middle of the badlands and spawn next to the player, without vehicles.

* NPCs will rarely thank or acknowledge the player if they are helped by the player.

* Scripted NPCs that have dialog will say their dialog then proceed to stand there forever. They will also repeat the same dialog if the player leaves the area and visits again later.

The majority of these things have never been fixed.

Sure, if shes in a settlement she probably gets access to some sort of shower or bath, plus a chance to wash her clothes (though based on the second game she isnt the most proactive when it comes to wearing clean clothes), but when shes out on a mission? Day on end in decades old clothes, no chance to wash, lots of physical activity, walking and running a lot.

Same for Aloy, who might smell worse due to her being tribal. Yeah, the tribes of Horizon probably wash in lakes if they wash at all, plus Aloy probably doesnt have any modern notions of cleanliness. She must absolutely reek after a few hours trekking.

The diner scene was clearly a reshoot to explain this.
