To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Morbius's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Morbius truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Morbius' existential catchphrase "Its Morbin time," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jared Leto's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes I have a Morbius tattoo, but its for ladies eyes only.

A 74-year-old homeowner is defending his decision after shooting a 16-year-old accused of breaking into his Ohio house, according to local news reports.

The Akron Police Department was called to the home invasion at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, according to a news release.
When (officers) arrived, they found a 16-year-old male inside the victims home with multiple gunshot wounds, police said in the news release.
The homeowner reported that the teen had forced himself into the home, police said, and at some point during the ordeal, the homeowner confronted the teen and discharged his firearm, striking him multiple times.
Police did not identify the teen or the homeowner.
Officers provided the teen with first aid until EMS arrived and took him to Akron Childrens Hospital, officials said, where he was in stable condition.
Authorities say the homeowner was not injured.
Lowgher told WEWS he shot the teen as he was heading to the basement.
I pumped two into him there, Lowgher said. He went down the steps that way and I got him a third time I hope.
A police investigation is ongoing to determine if any charges will be filed.
Most would agree that within reason, someone has a right to defend themselves, so in that someone broke into his house, in that hes confronted with an unknown person with an unknown motive, all those things will be taken into consideration, Lt. Michael Miller, public information officer with the department, told WKYC.
Miller told McClatchy News on April 1 that the teen has either been released from the hospital, or he is about to be released.
Akron is about 40 miles south of Cleveland.
