on grass, federer 100%. theyre both good, its hard to compare for hard courts bc iirc thats where djokovic shines. like, as an aside, i remember federer having a rough time against nadal bc he favored clay, but i havent been in the tennis scene in a minute. i do think federer is the more technically skilled though, so in prime? id say its probably pretty even with federer having a slight advantage unless im significantly misremembering prime federers ability on hard courts

for a university course, that was really ballsy on their part. they risked not only zeros on the exam but academic misconduct violations ranging from probation to expulsion

you did the right thing from your personal standing in the course (especially if you prepared and this class utilised a curve), from their honest ability (and/or inability) to learn the material, and from discouraging behaviour like that in the future

i doubt very many people would have said anything so honestly, props to you

I dunno. Sometimes I feel like I'm waiting to die. Like just anticipating it, not like tapping my watch waiting for it to happen.

Every year something gets worse. Things improving or getting better are just preludes to disappointment and dissatisfaction. My self esteem drops, feeling of love is the most debased, cliche form of it (unconditonal love from parents I've lived with for way too long), and a feeling that I'll literally never be able to self-actualize my life because to a certain degree I have no potential because I have no career or life drive. I'm just grabbing at the dust, the imprint memories, and the cobwebs of Public School when my life wasn't so empty.

Sure bro

dont misunderstand me. im not generalising students perceptions. these are my perceptions. i dont disagree that many students think they should be handed the information. thats incorrect, but they should be provided the tools to learn. there needs to be few enough informational breadcrumbs that theyre forced to learn but enough that theyre not in the dark. and the professor needs to be available and able to answer questions or provide a textbook or some other tool.

in one particular example i have in mind, i got an A purely from reading a textbook that i was recommended by another professor, while the majority of the class had exam averages in the <60% range - this is a failure in some part on the students but also reflects upon the professor. this was a physics-heavy course on semi-conductors where most students had not had any experience. those students who put in the effort using outside material got As/Bs (less than 10%); most did not. this is not the hallmark of an effective professor to me.

Student perceptions of teaching effectiveness are really, really off base and irrelevant, just fyi.
yeah so when 90% of your class doesnt understand the material bc you read directly from slides with zero effort given to answering questions, providing clarification on complicated concepts, dont attend your own office hours, and dont respond to emails, your comment means very little to me.

im the older sibling and while i dont have a sister, i do find hugging my brother more satisfying than hugging a friend. that may be because i love my sibling in more of a parental - sacrifice anything for them - sort of way. i dont really understand your question, i suppose, because it doesnt matter to me what sex/gender they are; its just unconditional love/support

It was also previously confirmed that anyone with a PS Now subscription would be upgraded to PS Plus Premium at no extra cost, with a 1:1 conversion ratio on any subscription time you had left.

If you stacked it, you got the best deal of all. Sony was smart and disabled stacking after they announced the merger, so you basically had to get lucky.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/6/9/3/AAeEwGAADQ6N.jpg

Edit: I get three more years, not four. But that's still a hella deal for me.
ah okay, so i'll just get premium until my current psnow runs out. that's fine then.

lmao damn, yeah you definitely got a killer deal based on the stacking

The hilarious thing is how I (totally unintentionally) got the single good deal out of it. In America, if you have both PS+ and PS Now, they look at whichever has the longer subscription time and convert you to Premium with that as the end date. They disabled the ability to stack years after announcing this.

I have four more years of Plus but only 6 months of Now. But I get four years of Premium lol. And the best part is that I got Plus for $20/year online, so I basically got four years of PS Plus Premium for ~$150ish
my plus lapsed but i still have psnow for a while. do you happen to know what they're going to do in this case?
