I've seen the guy working with other creators, but didn't know much about him directly. I really hate how these people wrote that statement. It uses a bunch of weaselly descriptions. If true, it paints him out to be a piece of shit either way, but the way they skirt around directly stating particular things is annoying. Anyone regardless of age can be groomed, but grooming actual minors is a whole different ballpark than if they were all legal age.

The reason why they did that is because this dude has a good reputation and a fanbase that would not accept he could be in the wrong, we've even seen that in this topic

If someone says "Oh he told me he was going to kill me in Kanas on June 12th, 2018" and any part of that turns out to be incorrect. every single victim is going to be dismissed.

I really hated the stupid shit where you had to discern the lore from extremely minute and ambiguous details provided in the games.

The only time I ever found it interesting was MatPat's video on the first one where he makes a decent argument for it being based on a murder at a Chuck E Cheese.

To be fair , the hidden lore and mysteries aren't necessary to follow the plot

You can have no idea who Cassidy is or what the bite of 87 vs 83 is and still understand whats happening in each game. Except maybe FNAF world.

He managed to take lazy devs blatantly not giving a shit about the story and just slapping any old shit together and he turned it not only into a theory that makes sense but actually massively improves the lore and is logically consistent.

To those who don't know the plot of FNAF this would be like if someone took the "So Long Gay Bowser" from Super Mario 64 and managed use it to connect the Super Mario Super Show, The 90s Mario movie and Super Mario Odyssey in a way that not only made sense but made all the plots better.

No it wasn't real. In Reality instead of a tiger he was stuck on a boat with a French cook, his mom and a vegan Budist with an infected leg. The Budist died in agony, then the cook tried to eat him. His mom got pissed, they ended up killing each other.

Then Pi floated alone for all this time.

He made up the shit about the tiger because it was more interesting.

The whole thing is a metaphor for why religious creation stories are totally kewl. The idea being that we have no idea how the world/life/the universe truly began, only theories and the wacky insane story about being trapped with a tiger (Creation stories, God, Adam and Eve etc) are more meaningful and cooler than dull scientifitic stories (Shit just happens because of sicentiific law) and since we have no proof one way or the other ultimately, we may as well just accept the cooler story as a society.

So Presumably the poo Pi ate was actually the cook's poo.

Personally I think the moral of the story is a load of shit. "Well since we don't know what's wrong with believing anything we like!?" is such a harmful belief structure. But that doesn't change the fact it's an incredibly well written story and the movie is good too.
