Zero is really good. For intro games I think Zero is the best between Sky FC, CS1 and Zero. Not intro to the series. More like an intro into the arc. I know a lot of people like Azure the most but I personally found it not as good because the first half of the game is a total snoozefest. The second half is amazing but the final boss is one of the most bullshit final bosses I've ever fought.

Yeah, those are my feelings for the Crossbell games exactly. Zero is best beginning to an arc. Azure is solid, but not as amazing as some fans hyped it up to be.

My free trial ended a few days ago, and going back to having ads was a lot easier than I thought it'd be. Maybe it's just the people I watch, but I rarely have to deal with more than the 1 or 2 at the beginning of most videos, and 15-30 seconds isn't a big deal for me.

I still haven't gotten around to playing this. Currently replaying CS3 for a refresher.

JRPG/WRPG are obvious ones for this topic but they're by no means the worst. Puzzle? Adventure? ACTION???

Because a lot of gamers love semantic arguments. It's become far easier to just describe how a game plays since everybody argues over minor shit like genre names.

"Sexualized loli" is a redundant phrase. "Loli" is a shortened version of "lolicon", or "someone who finds little girls attractive." In that line a "loli" is specifically the term for "a little girl that is attractive," with a bit of the implicit understanding that it is "that *I* find attractive" with the usage of the phrase. If someone in Japan actually wants to talk about a little girl they don't use the term "loli" unless it is explicitly sexualized in nature because that is the point. Otherwise they might use something like "joshi" or "onna no ko" (or if formal: "shojo").

As right as you technically are, next to nobody uses loli in that context anymore. Nowadays it's just used for any female character who looks younger than about 15.

I don't really care one way or the other. There are plenty of turn based rpgs out there if that's what I'm in the mood for. I don't need that from Final Fantasy specifically. Plus, I like their action rpgs.

Same. Might take a little longer to kill stuff at worst. The main campaign in Pokemon games has next to no difficulty to speak of.

Not looking like a Ghost specialist is what made his design interesting imo. You hear about him from a few npcs and trainers and he comes off all wise and mystical, then you meet him and he's just this regular dude. I like it when character designs go against what you'd expect.

I love Phoebe for the same reason. Who'd expect her to be a ghost-type master, out of the Elite Four at that?

The first 2 are the main issues for me. I just don't have the patience to get good at them. I suppose it also hurts that I'm not really a PvP gamer. I'm not very competitive, and prefer to take things at my own pace.

Yes, though the issue is usually more with the people being influenced than the fiction itself. No one sane plays a violent video game and then decides its ok to attack people, to use the example others posted.
