Oh very cool. I bought a cheapo HB a few years back and it was decent. I also just ordered a jp-55op bass a few days ago to try a bass out.

It will be interesting to see how you like your new acoustic. Will it be easier to play than a regular one? Play like an electric but sound acoustic? And it looks pretty thin, I wonder how loud it will be? Or are you planning on playing it with or without an amp?

And whoa, the back looks kinda funky. It's plastic? That is super interesting. I do kinda like the looks of the whole thing.

I always make whiskey sours. I like them. Tried a few old fashioneds, meh. I picked up some buillet cocktails, the old fashioned, and their manhattan. They are pretty good. So I'm currently mixing manhattans. They arent bad.

This design and color scheme by Ontario caught my eye.

Nice! The rat is def one of the best all around beginner options. I was just looking at those and didn't know if theyd be in your wheelhouse. The rat 2 is 3", and the original rat is 3.6." I know the original rats have the half serrated blade, which you seem to like, and the rat 2 does not. The rat 2 is better steel though.

The blade's about 3 inches. It's quite a heavy knife. I'm not even sure what brand it is.

Oh that's not bad lookin. Sometimes the name is on the base of the blade near the handle, on the other side. I wanna guess Sog but thats outta nowhere, heh.

The cryo is a decent choice. You should also figure out how big of a blade you want. How big is the one you have now? Do you like it? Is it easy to use? Is it awkward? What do you like about it and what don't you like about it? Do you like the weight on your knife? Do you like how it locks? Is it easy to open/close? I ended up loving the 3" blades. Any bigger and it starts to feel unwieldy. I would also go with something at least d2. But yeah, knifecenter and bladhq have lot of options you can sort by, price, length, material.

I started out cheapies, and kept trying stuff until I found what I like. I lean towards spyderco, but, they are a bit pricey. Some of the lightweights are decent.
