As with any JRPG that doesn't have a ridiculously stupid large amount of characters *cough* Chrono Cross *cough* I generally like to mix up my main party as I play for variety's sake and not just stick with one party or just whatever is "optimal."

I consolidated my loans before I fully paid them off so I don't know if I would have been eligible anyways.

Outside of getting ticketed a handful of times throughout the years I've never really had a negative experience with police. The last time I interacted with one was when I was pulled over and a cop just let me know a headlight was out. Dude was super friendly about it.

I've also never heard of any cops doing really bad shit around here, though I don't go out of my way looking for such stories.

people seem to ragging on Butcher for changing plans during the finale, but honestly he should probably be ragged on more for pissing off Ryan in the first place and making him more susceptible to Homelander's words on the last episode. Maybe if Ryan wasn't pissed at butcher than he would have been much less likely to see Homelander as a father figure, and if Ryan didn't view Homelander that way, he probably wouldn't have interfered in the fight at Vought Tower.

I mean, it makes sense that Butcher would want to protect and care about Ryan at the finale fight considering his whole thing with Becca, but it's just too bad that he seemingly forgot about that stuff when he lashed out at Ryan earlier on in the season because, I dunno, he was pissy at the time I guess? >_>

Also I'd be more mad at people that aren't Butcher, since really, The Boys didn't really seem to take the Homelander threat seriously, or atleast didn't do so the entire time. Starlight sort of did at first with all her secret planning stuff going on at Vought with the supes there. But of course as soon as her friend got massacred thanks to A-Train's blabbing, she just seemed to focus less on Homelander and just decide to just mess with him via social media (which honestly seems like a terrible idea to me), and then just focus on making out Soldier Boy as the biggest issue (all the while the even scarier Homelander is becoming more unhinged than ever).

Hughie was initially on Butcher's side, but then ends up taking Annie's side because he say SB do some bad stuff (though not as much as HL has done in recent times...)

Milkman also clearly cared about stopping Soldier Boy more than Homelander, which to some extent makes sense considering his past with SB, but still, with how Todd has been bringing his daughter to HL rallies, probably saying HL propaganda around her and having his daughter's life in danger or potentially getting screwed with because of Todd/HL, you'd think HL maybe would have been on his radar more than it was atleast.

And Frenchie and Kimiko...seemed to care about their own personal shit more than either HL or SB and were just kinda there, though at the end they still ended up siding with Hugie/Annie/MM than with Bucther.

So yeah, while Butcher flubbed on some things he still atleast seemed to actually give a shit about the HL threat more than the other Boys.
