Though the Smoliv fight was against a gym leader right? Since this is supposed to be open world, maybe they battle at fixed levels so you can't break the game in half by overleveling, and as such they opt to just not show it in those fights?

Guess we'll find out in November.

Apparently if you look at the battle HUD in the Quaxly VS Smoliv battle, level isn't shown, which means it might not exist anymore?

Basically they only programmed like 400 Pokemon into Sword and Shield. For the DLC they added about another... what, 200-300 of them? But that still left quite a few not even programmed into the game. And if they're not programmed into the game, then you can't even send them over to Sword and Shield.

Example: None of the Kalos starters are in the game. So if you're one of them Greninja fanboys, then you're out of luck, you will NOT use Greninja in Sword and Shield.

And GameFreak is on record saying this will be the case going forward.

Ok that's fair, though even if they WERE copied (which I highly doubt, as while similar, I have seen subtle differences in how the car controls, though it's also been years since I've played RL so I'm willing to admit that my memory could be playing tricks on me, as it tends to do) I don't really know how one would be able to prove the physics were copied.

Like, could you crack open both games and see if the code that makes the physics do the physics thing are the same? I legit do not know because as good as I am with tech I'm a complete maroon in the way of coding.

Gamefreak should sue the makers of Temtem and Nexomon because there is a LOT of similar gameplay elements. ZUN should be sued by whoever made the first Bullet Hell-style game because (SAY THE LINE, CE!) there is a LOT of similar gameplay elements.

It's cars playing a sport by boosting into a ball. That's pretty much all the two games have in common, heck they aren't even the same sport! There's a difference between outright stealing someone's work and simply drawing inspiration from it, and if you think TGR is doing the former then idk what to tell you, because there's no helping people who just want something to complain about.

But I don't have a kid and I never will have a kid. Like, even if I wanted kids it's just not going to happen. The odds of a girl putting up with my bullshit long enough to get to the point where I can get a kid in them isn't even slim to none, it's just flat-out impossible. It's so impossible, in fact, that no hypothetical can even assume, for the purposes of that specific situation, that I WOULD have a kid.

As a result, I have both arms free, and am able to rescue both my dog and the random-ass toddler.
