Big gimmick is that the whole solar system is like 40 miles across and you traverse each planet yourself. Another intelligent civilization lived here before you and something happened to them and you're supposed to figure it out. There's nothing else that's exactly like it. I posted a thread asking b8 for an amazing bananas mind-blowing game and like 50% of the responses were Outer Wilds. It's one of those where you should know as little about it as possible before you play it. It's one of my favorite games in recent memory. Definitely play it. --- Neato, an account |

There's a neat mechanic where picking up an item decreases your maximum jump height. Stuff randomly gives you a game over but normally I think it's funny when it happens. It's got really good reviews for a good reason imo. I've been playing for 45 minutes or an hour and it's really fun. Definitely worth $8, but it's currently on sale for $2 --- Neato, an account |

The only thing they really bought is the name Wordle and probably the general design of the specific web page.
