i doubt itll take more than a week for them to find a cloudflare alternative. i think it took them like two days to come back after getting kicked from dreamhost or whatever. pretty sure the other sites they dropped (daily stormer and 8chan) still exist too, i aint brave enough to check tho

the alternatives who would put up with their shit are tiny in comparison, the stormer has had to retreat to Tor, 8chan is hanging off the side of whichever dodgy ISP they can find this week, and is frequently offline. The alternatives are not good for business, Cloudflare was really the main thing propping all these sites up.

It's why the "they'll just move elsewhere" or "they'll just go deeper underground" is a dumb argument. These places were easily accessible places where people could further radicalise each other and coordinate. Without their little playpen, these toxic fucks are disparate, spread thin across private whatsapp groups, etc, and aren't going to have a steady stream of new members to loop in. Any harassment being coordinated is limited to whichever group of friends split off into that group, there's no easy way for them to do this en masse without a public forum

I will point out that there's very much a difference between hacking in a bootcamp and hacking in an actual infrastructure. a decade of steady evo/devolution in an active directory, software debt, generations of sysadmins, etc, leave you with not so lovingly a crafted environment

I still think any pentesting involving phishing is a waste of time. just give them a fuckin user account and save the hours in your scope, one of your users is going to click the link eventually. then you can scope a pentest for "anything other than phishing" if you really care about testing your perimeter security.

outside of the number of times DS3 goes "hey remember this part from this other game you loved" rather than establish its own identity, the pacing is ass. Four lords to kill like before, but all the actual development is for Aldritch. They build up only one of the four, have you kill him just over halfway into the game, then it's just "also there's a big guy who ruled this corridor/city. Also remember the final boss from that other game you loved?"

don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good in it and I replay it from time to time, but it over-relies on the good faith people have for DS1 (which let's face it, also fell apart in the last third)
