Since a tortilla is a form of unleavened bread, tacos and hotdogs are both technically sandwiches. Pizza is an interesting take, but Chicago style is more like a casserole in an edible dish. The real question is what about corndogs? They're encased in what is technically cornbread right? But they're served on a stick instead of being eaten by hand, but that doesn't seem to be a qualifier for the definition of sandwich at all --- The Phantom has spoken! |

A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening began to implement more intuitive puzzle-solving more advanced than just "which block do I push" or "which bush do I burn", with more theming and atmosphere that bring a sense of mystery, and think those games are excellent precursors into what became Ocarina and Majora's Mask. The Oracle games too, especially Ages moreso than Seasons, seemed to have a lot of similarities in that regard. But I can see putting the first two games in a different category of sorts. But Zelda 2 was so radically different from the first one anyway so it's like 3 categories --- The Phantom has spoken! |

| Phantom36 09/07/22 11:28:22 AM #13 | Several labyrinths in the original Legend of Zelda are amongst the hardest in the series and certainly more difficult than the water temple A room full of darknuts who you can only attack from behind or in the side because they'll block you with their shield, who move sporadically to troll you, all while having to simultaneously dodge fireballs and avoid those bubbles that temporarily disable your sword (or permanently in the 2nd quest)! Or a room full of wizrobes and like-likes, and the like-like eats your big shield and now you'll waste a potion... and the layouts of how different parts of the dungeon connect to each other via underground staircases and whatnot are super confusing even with the dungeon map. And in the second quest when you unknowingly stumble upon one of the rooms where you have to --- The Phantom has spoken! |

Off the top of my head: Smoulder Lucifer Satan's Hallow (they broke up already and renamed Midnight Dice but it's one new member) Smoulder Christian Mistress (also broke up already) Night Viper And Lucifer is particularly recommended if you want something more similar to Sabbath rather than Priest or Maiden Look up NWOTHM (New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal), it's an obvious homage to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) from 1980 and there's a LOT of it right now (some really good, some just kind of Ok) and the add in female vocalist to the search criteria because there are a ton of those lately too And "new" for me is still within the last decade, Christian Mistress was already like 7 or 8 yrs ago, wow time flies. Third largest mall in the world when it opened in the 70s and was a happening place to be through the 90s... Now it's just a giant bird cage I'm genuinely sad when I think about it... In retrospect my favorite thing about it was the layout, so many different nooks and crannies and staircases it actually reminded me of a dungeon from a Zelda game in terms of its shear layout, seriously --- The Phantom has spoken! |

I think like 2 or 3 of the countries don't exist anymore But you can pick one of 3 players for each position: the little guy is super fast but can't hit, the big guy can hit but skates slow, and the middleweight is balanced. Primitive today but advanced for its time. But the most fun part was the pure gameplay with friends. Ties after 3 periods and it would go to a shootout. Still tied after a shootout? The next round is sudden death....with empty nets!!! I swear this game ruined friendships lol --- The Phantom has spoken! |

| Phantom36 08/18/22 4:21:01 AM #7 | I remember being super excited for it because it was the realistic 3D Zelda game and followup to the N64 games we were all waiting for, while Wind Waker (despite being really fun) took a disappointingly cartoony direction But then I remember being pretty disappointed in it, as the first good chunk of the game seemed rather boring and slow. Like is this the Legend of Zelda or the Legend of Goat Herding? Ultimately I did come to enjoy it by the end though, but there was some missed potential in how underused some of the items were like the mace and chain was so cool but so rarely useful --- The Phantom has spoken! |
