Because tbh, the original Hocus Pocus isn't really a good movie to begin with. Its dumb in the right ways to be a fun Halloween movie, but its not actually a good movie.

Guess I'm pretty lucky to not have that problem (yet). My S10E is in its 4th year of constant use, and I've got no sign of the battery expanding, and neither with my old S7 that's not really been used as more than an alarm clock since I upgraded.

Soulcaliber is the only fighting game that seems to have AI vs. AI, so its the best one to me.

I also basically don't play online, so that isn't an issue for me.

DOA6 was just kind of like, a train wreck on every level. In an attempt to be taken more seriously, they aggressively toned down the T&A, but that pissed off the actual DOA fanbase. So they put the T&A back in behind an absurd amount of paywalls and micro transactions, implemented even more micro transactions, and continued to tone down the overall absurdity.

A trainwreck especially considering that DOA5 was really popular and well received.

I feel like Season 8 could have been fine, it was just missing a lot of the charm that made the rest of the series so good.

If I told you how the series ended when you were on like, season 4, it wouldn't really be ridiculous. You'd probably go "oh wow that sounds cool, I can't wait to see how they get there", but season 8 cut out a lot of the "how they got there" part.

I also think there was never an ending that would have done the White Walker storyline any justice and also provided a worthwhile ending for the show.

And in everything besides the poor writing, everything else was still 100% on point until the last minute. Really underlines how much one section not pulling its weight can drag the whole thing down.

I do fit the criteria, but I also have pretty thick glasses, so I don't think even if I could they would really take me, unless all the better options were taken.

While looking back, I can tell that me being a miserable little ass was a big reason for a lot of my problems, it doesn't really make my time in high school any less miserable.

There are some good things when I look back now, I'm still close with a couple of my friends from high school, but still, wouldn't really want to do it again.

iirc, there was one open area, and that was because Ellie and Dina were looking for clues where to go in the beginning (story-wise, that section could have been written differently to avoid it, though).

after that, even though the stages could be pretty big, they were still linear.

Do people like David Cage games? I thought the idea was he was kind of a hack - especially after how "racist if you actually think about it at all" Detroit: Become Human was.

I think the game was originally intended for you to have more alternation between Ellie and Abby (which you can kind of see since there's like tutorial sections at the start of Abby's play through) but overall I really liked it.

I would've liked it to be more obviously episodic like the first game. One of the best parts of the first game was there were really clear points every hour or two of gameplay that had really obvious stopping points in a "What's gonna happen next? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK" kind of thing that's really rare in games. TLOU2 didn't have this and I think its the worse for it. I think the story for TLOU2 is worse, but that's pretty much because its trying a much more significant story, and its harder to nail a more complex story like that.

I also disagree with you liking the open areas more. I thought they were kind of poorly placed. Like Ellie is on a Rambo-esque murder spree, why do I have to stop right before I get there to explore this nearby town? I liked the game being more streamlined.

Still, was a big fan of both games. If TLOU was a 10/10, TLOU2 is like a 9/10. Still definitely worth the play.

Trying to transfer the sound wirelessly without losing data will just never be as effective as doing it via a cable.

Though its worth noting that unless you're like, an audiophile, you probably won't notice. Most wireless earbuds or headphones outside of literally the cheapest stuff sound fine to even good, and if you intend to use your headphones while you say, take the bus to school/work or whatever, the convenience of no wires can easily be worth the decline in sound quality you might not even notice.

If you are like, sound-engineering or something like that, you need at the very least wired headphones. The gap between wired and wireless is still ****ing gigantic, especially at the highest qualities.

If you just want a pair of headphones for your phone, Anything in your price range will probably do fine. Ones I'd suggest

• Skullcandy's are good if you have a tight budget (~ or less than 100$) but if your willing to pay more than basically the bare minimum for headphones its worth going elsewhere.
• Beats aren't worth the like 300$ they cost, but if you can find them cheaper they are still good (I got mine for a little over 100$ and they're top-tier headphones as far as 100$ goes)
• Senheiser's of any kind are pretty high quality
• Sony XM3/XM4 are supposed to be basically the peak wireless headphones you can buy, though they get pretty expensive (like 3-400$)

Its probably somewhere around the middle, though definitely higher if we count DLC. Still in the middle even with DLC though.

This feels like the special master Trump wanted realized Trump was trying to use them to stall. And they clearly don't like having someone try to waste their time.

Or this was a plan for Trump to say its an even more politically targeted attack, and just pretend it wasn't the special master he suggested - because the MAGA crowd doesn't care if Trump is lying or not.

Among other things, one of the main arguments is that the other guy who was charged with Gaetz, Joel Greenberg, who is very obviously more guilty and if Gaetz decides to throw his friend under the bus, there's very little evidence to suggest say, Greenberg was the one trafficking and Gaetz simply indulged him - which is a much less serious crime.

Also Greenberg has no legitimacy as a witness, as he has a history of making serious **** up about people he doesn't like, meaning he's nothing except a benefit to Gaetz.

Sounds like its akin to the Russia-gate stuff, where it very obviously happened, but because they can't perfectly link Gaetz to all the stuff, he's going to walk free.

No it was some of the little ones with a weapon or two in the shrine that was causing trouble.

Its not so much they were difficult, so much as them being damn near impossible that early made me think the game would be largely gear-based or something like that, which pushed me to not actually explore all that much. After playing more it became obvious that wasn't the intention at all, but I was just off on the wrong foot because of it.

When I first started I accidentally ran into a major test of strength shrine, and literally couldn't kill the guardian-thing and it immediately set my game off poorly.

Like, you can see the shrine from the plateau, why would you make it one of the more difficult ones?

I was expecting more Incel stuff from "stop being a NICE GUY" - these are like, reasonable things. Its mostly common sense stuff that 99% of actual people might suggest for you, but if it works here and not there, that's fine. For anyone who doesn't bother watching:

1) Make it direct that you actually have an interest in said woman. (which, well, duh) - its rarely cool to try to become friends with a woman with the express intent of dating them
2) Don't be afraid to disagree or fight back or something, don't be a cheerleader (don't be a "cheerleader")
3) don't be desperate. People can smell desperation from miles away and its a huge turn-off. Don't be desperate for validation and have some self-confidence.

Basically "Be a functional person otherwise women won't like you"

They don't want you doing randomizers or ROMHacks tho.

Yeah honestly its kind of surprising that 1 even got a sequel, it really wasn't that good. And that's coming from someone that did like it.

Though I could see an argument for swapping 2 and 4, depending on how much you liked the story of 4.

He means the PhD track itself has no tests.

Which is also not true. You do have qualifying exams in your first year or so that may kick you out of the program if you don't pass them, and when you actually finish you have to defend your thesis, which I would consider a "test", though not quite the same as what you may be expecting when you hear the word "test". But the actual act of doing a PhD doesn't have any tests - at that point, its kind of just expected that you know what's going on in your field.

Easily the best story in the series, though tbf its kind of the only one that actually tried to have a good story. Such a shame it was the "last" one, it was the series mostly at its best for sure. I would never say no to another fun action-adventure romp in Uncharted - I might be willing to go buy a PS5 for that tbh.

I don't really like the levels that are wide open and not as linear as previous games, it really only served a point to get me turned around IMO - the same thing happened in TLOU2 I think.

He was in the last one as Vin Diesel's law-breaker estranged brother. He's also set to return in the next movie, FX. Though Rock isn't supposed to be there. He's gone off into his own spin off just in time for Cena to arrive. Though this is probably the most likely franchise for two or three to overlap.

Cena and Rock could also theoretically interact in a DC movie, though Black Adam and Peacemaker are really not the kind of characters to interact.

The three of them actually cover a lot of franchises, so its surprising there's been no overlap at all yet.

I've noticed very few people bother wearing masks anymore, and Canada was way stricter about mask requirements than the States was.

A couple places (like schools) still have a "wear masks during class" rule, but everywhere else its optional.

IIRC, if you want to care about online politics in any way shape or form, you have to desperately hate vaush and not really be able to explain why.

Idk, he can come off as a dick a lot, but I don't know what he does to warrant all the hate he gets.

He also needs to stop adapting things. Its pretty clear he like, doesn't understand the things he adapts, since he has a pretty good record of doing like, literally the opposite of what the original thing had to say.

But if you want movies that feel like they're deep but actually aren't, Snyder's your guy.

Its a game that's really make-or-break depending on how involved you get into the atmosphere and somewhat subtle story. The combat is a little clunky, but I'm pretty sure that's by design for the above. There's also not really enough of it to be a huge problem.

I really liked it. For like 7-10$ on sale I'd say its very much worth it. Like a 9/10 game for me.

For anyone that legitimately doesn't know who he is, Destiny is a political streamer most commonly known for debating a wide variety of people both left- and right-wing politically. He was known for kind of being "the first" or at least close to it and helped create a space for more left wing streamers (like Keffals in the OP)

He also has a tendency to go too far and harass or just general TOS-breaking behaviour. As a result he is repeatedly banned from from places like Twitter, only to show up with an alt not-long after. We've already seen the stuff that likely got him banned this time above.
