As said, he won $10 million for the lawsuit, and an extra $5 million for damages; but in the state the trial took place such damages can only be capped at $350,000....so Depp won $10,350,000 minus $2 million to Heard on her side of the countersuit.
Thanks for clarifying, I did miss that detail in your OP.

I thought he won $15 million? Minus $2 million that Amber still has to pay Johnny. She gains nothing.

  • Does she even have the money?
Well she aint Gal Gadot-levels rich so who knows.

  • Can she even work off that money now that she's been laughed out of Hollywood
Through film income? Highly unlikely.

  • Can Heard be charged with criminal perjury?
Thats a possibility considering that she did in fact lie on the stand under oath. Everything recorded and witnessed of course.

  • Does this prove that we rrrrreeealllly need to "believe all women"....?
Not even if its about domestic abuse against women anymore thanks to Amber spitting real female victims in the face. Her stunt backfired so hard she not only lost all credibility but also ironically helped males to speak up against domestic abuse which wasnt her plan.

Johnny comes across as way more genuine. Ambers try-hard acting on the stand is erratic and not very convincing to say the least.

This is genuinely one of the best (more or less improvised) performances Ive ever seen from Will Smith. Buthe broke character (-2 points for a total of 8/10) right after the slap (which itself was real but made to look harder with Wills telegraphed hit and Chris enhancing the impact a little to much)

https://youtu.be/2QU1hIyqW6E

Notice in the clip that Chris is getting ready for the slap by adjusting his feet position and leaning forward with his hands behind his back.
Then, Chris yells WOW in true Chris Rock comedic fashion as a briefly smiling Will almost cracks up (15 second mark) but then keeps his head low in an attempt to avoid too much attention to the details.

Back on the seat, Will goes all in with his stellar acting and turns on tears like regular people turn on the tap for water (pro actors do this all the time in rehearsals).
Will Smith tearfully delivers standard by-the-book Hollywood politically correct acceptance speech to a cheering crowd whos already forgotten the slap. The show goes on like nothing happened, like The Smiths family smile and pose for the press after the show, as if nothing happened.
Both Will and Jada are great actors and masters at garnering attention for millions of views.

Also, the Slap Trick has been done before:

Wills Instagram post before attending:
me and Jada got all dressed up to choose chaos - both grimacing angrily.
The son Jaden on Twitter after the slap: And thats how we do it
This was either staged really well with great acting or Will Smith seriously need some anger management courses asap. It shouldve stopped at cursing at Chris at most, not proceed to then slap him on stage on live TV. Better yet, Will shouldve verbally confronted Chris directly after the show or during a break.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) or crystal sickness?
Yes Ive had that and it sucks. First 24 hours were the worst for me with constant dizziness and throwing up, then it gradually got better during a 3-4 week period but I had difficulty balancing when walking. None of the recommended exercises worked for me it just disappeared by itself (ear crystal realigning)
