Not sure what Square Enix is doing. Valkyrie Elysium, Diofield Chronicle, Harvestella, Star Ocean, Tactics Ogre are all releasing within weeks of each other.

Overwatch "2" is basically a vehicle for Blizzard to make more money while screwing over the playerbase. For example, I heard that new heroes will be locked behind a battlepass instead of being free to everyone on release.

Overwatch 2 is free, the heroes are in the free part of the battle pass. If you miss a battle pass you can unlock them through a quest. Essentially they are just ripping out the loot boxes and adding an in-game shop and adding a way to earn the shop currency through quests.

The main benefit of the Remastered version was the FPS bump but I imagine that's not relevant to the PC version.

There isn't really anything to respond to, they monetized the game aggressively, even by mobile game standards. If they walk it back now they burn all the people who already put money in.

If you think about it, what's the point in maxing out a character in a game like this? The journey to max out the character is the whole game basically. I can almost bet the intention was that people wouldn't spend the money to upgrade their characters outside of the few whales and the grind to upgrade your character is supposed to be the games content for the next 5 years.

I mean it doesn't really matter, the game will give you your 30 minute wait and that group will automatically find another person.

I bought a Samsung S21 last year and around the same time work upgraded my to an iPhone 13. I've been an Android user for the last decade but honestly the iPhone feels much more premium than my Samsung phone and I find myself using it more.

Yea its Magic Far Cry in Tokyo more or less, I haven't played Far Cry since 3 but I think theres less to do in it than the standard Ubisoft game. The setting is interesting and its probably the closest we'll get to a Jujutsu Kaisen game that isn't an arena brawler or mobile game. 20 dollars is probably the most I'd tell someone to pay for it. Its a 6 - 7/10 game at best.

Please wait until it hits $15 USD or less. Ive been playing Ghostwire Tokyo these past few weeks and its such a boring game. The combat becomes repetitive within the first two hours. Almost every enemy encounter feels the same. The setting is really cool, though.

This, I bought it for 45 and regretted it. I finished the game in about 9 hours, there is maybe 4 or 5 enemy types in the game with 3 bosses. The powers are just guns but you shoot them with your fingers instead and you unlock all of them 2 hours into the game. Outside of that its a standard open world game, climb the towers, collect the things, do the side quests.

The HxH anime ends where he should have ended the Manga but instead he started another arc.

Thanks everyone for the input I've been reading the manga until this point so I'll just stick with it. I watched the first three episodes of Enies Lobby and found that it barely covered 3 chapters.

So I just go to Enies Lobby in the manga and someone recommended I watch this arc in anime form since there are some good fights but honestly the animation seems mediocre and like half of every episode is just recap. I know the animation vastly improves at Wano but I hear the pacing is still horrible.

Weird the Atelier Ryza 2 has a PS5 version but the games after it don't

It also had the physical PS5 copy cancelled at the last minute.

Pretty sure it was four or five exclusive games from Capcom, I think the only games that ended up releasing were PN03, RE4 and Viewtiful Joe. RE4 and VJ ended up getting released on PS2 a little while after. PN03 wasn't a big seller and I think the other games ended up releasing way later on both systems after the deal had run out.

So basically I've got like a year to finish the 3 sky games while I wait for Zero and Azure to get released.

Threads of Fate is still stuck on the PS1, Brave Fencer Musashi never got re-released outside of Japan. Two of my favourite rentals growing up.

I also think the people who like Endwalker more have maybe gone through different things in life. There is so much to relate to in this expansion for them.

Endwalker feels so cliched during the second act, in my opinion, it feels like your just checking off the boxes on a JRPG trope list. It was hard to take any of the dramatic moments seriously during the final zone when after the first split you knew exactly were it was going. My second complaint is there are so many scenes where you just fill everybody in on what's going on and they all give their 2 cents just to inevitably agree with you. Sometimes I felt like the story was trying to create emotional investment through time spent with characters not actual compelling narrative.

If not then fine, I don't expect everyone to keep playing through the story that long. But you're literally missing out on the best story in the whole series. And this is coming from a diehard Final Fantasy fan.

I've sunk almost 7000 hours into this game and dont regret it. I treasure every moment I have with this amazing RPG.

Also Endwalker is the best experience I've ever had playing a videogame.

I think its debatable that its one of the best stories. I've played since ARR launch, I think its just fine, I thought Endwalker was worse than ShB in every way.

I really can't agree with the sentiment that its one of the best Final Fantasy games. Its fine, the story at its core is good but its dragged out so much by trying to fit it into an MMO questing system and make it fit a certain amount of content. I also disagree that anyone can finish Stormblood -> Endwalker in 1 month sub while watching the cutscenes.

I did IT at a private school for a while. I showed up first day and my Boss took me into his office and told me I had a lot of responsibility. He handed me a DVD of Transformers and said I need you to put this on in the Library and don't come back until the movies over. He then installed Starcraft on my laptop and we played bot matches the entire day.

The actual work consisted of installing printers on computers and if something broke just back up and re-image. Since it was a boarding school as well there was free breakfast and lunch.
