This isn't even about rerolling. I don't even make it to the pulling most of the times. Quite a few of the times I delete it at the first battle. I have literally no idea why I'm doing this. There is nothing about it I actually like.

This is getting ridiculous. Ive said Ive dropped Nikke, and I have more than half a dozen times these last few days. I uninstall it and delete the instance, but then later I think stuff along the lines of you know, maybe theyll improve it soon. Maybe theyll learn their lesson. Maybe I should play just in case and then I reinstall it and create a new account only to delete it again. Sometimes I only make it to the initial fight before thinking what the hell am I doing? Other times I make it past the first pulls. None of the times have I actually gone beyond the first time at the lobby. I dont why Im doing this.

Personally, while there are definitely ones worse and greedier ones out there, Nikke feels greedier and with more asinine decisions than most Ive tried. Maybe it wouldnt be as bad if they hadnt already made DC. But thats just my experience and most of the attention on its many flaw could still just be because it was hyped. All I know is that I wasnt particularly invested in it in the lead up and I still found it worse than I was expecting.

*shrug* I figured that since I've seen this brought in multiple places it was different then normal. Only gachas I've ever spent on are ones that either don't have a separation between free and paid currency, or call them completely different things. I think the issue might be that the descriptions in the shop don't say paid vs free (or at least I assume they don't. I already uninstalled it before seeing this mentioned).

This isn't something I've personally experienced, but just as a warning to people who are planning to pay in Nikke not all paid gems count as paid. Apparently only the ones in the gem shop part of the cash shop count as paid gems. The others are free gems you pay for.

Yep. I dont totally get the need for codes to have an expiry date, since what does it matter if someone down the line can get the benefit too, but theyve been a thing forever and any gacha with codes has them. Codes that expire after x number of people enter them though? Thats just scummy and only rewards those who actively consume every piece of media a code could be in.

Codes that can only be used by a certain number of people is yet another idiotic thing theyve done.

Nikke is fun so far. But for such a big launch, the devs are really stingy with their launch rewards. You would think we would get a SSR selector considering how big the cast is on launch or a launch banner that everyone can pull on without paying.

Kinda seems like they're banking on whales spending exuberant amounts of money to get their waifus and leaving F2P players behind. Bit of a red flag, tbh.

Its a shame since Destiny Child, their other game, is incredibly generous.

Yeah, as was said salted works. I never did get the ones I tried last night though. Maybe Ill give it another try today then with hopefully an account that doesnt just give me dupes and a loli. Not sure I will though. That still wont make up for the annoying battle system.

Do salted emails not work with Nikke? The email address is correct, but Im not getting the verification code. I really dont want to have to continue with my present account.

Ehhhh gotta admit, Im not too thrilled with Nikke so far. I knew what I was getting into, butt (heh) actually playing it leaves me a bit unimpressed. Ill give it a little more time, then possibly drop it if it doesnt grow on me. I think my main issue with it is that its sort of hard to aim with such a small surface area.

I feel the same except Im playing it on pc and an iPad, so I find the area too big. I find that I click or tap where I want to aim and the reticle is somewhere else because it doesnt move to where I click. Its annoying to click where the reticle is and then drag it to where I want.

Im also not particularly thrilled with my pulls from the 2 10 pulls. Dupes of whats-their-names and some lolis. The dupes will be useful I suppose, but Id rather get someone else I can use this early. And the lolis would be permanently benched due to my personal hatred of them.

Hmmm, interesting. Installing Google Play Games PC messed up my Bluestacks install, so I had to re-install Bluestacks and mess around with a bunch of windows settings to get it working again. Turns out there isn't anything I want to play available on Google PC, so that was a lot of grief for nothing.

Afterwards I tried installing Nikke again and this time it installs, but the anime movie doesn't play at all. Not sure if that's a change to make it more stable, or if Google PC messed up even more stuff.

Speaking of Nikke, new update notes say that using skips will give you less rewards than manually playing the dailies and apparently Korean fans spammed the dev livestream upset how toned down Nikke is compared to DC.

By download, I meant the preloading. I get a bit of the anime portion and then it crashes.

Anyone else unable to download it? It goes along for a little bit and then tells me I haven't downloaded the required files and then crashes.

Not sure I'll reroll. I don't think there is any character I actually want, so I'd reroll for meta. Having to manually play through chapter 1 ever time sounds like a pain though. I'll probably go with whoever I get, be disappointed, and drop.

This talk of GFL is intensifying my urge to come back for some reason, especially since I'm not playing anything else. Not sure I'd want to get hit by all these new systems introduced since I quit all at once though. I barely started fairies and now I'd have to look into whatever forward base, coalition, and HOC are plus whatever else was added in the years since I played. Maybe I should just start a fresh account and get introduced to them as they come up since I'd basically have to relearn everything else anyway.

I may have been wrong about one thing in my Nikke post. A gameplay trailer was released today and in it there are coats covering asses, so if they are the assets found in the last CBT (I was never in any of the CBTs so I have no idea) then I was wrong and they have now been shown elsewhere. Apparently they also removed jiggle physics in that trailer.

In related Korean news, Ive read that FGO and Blue Archive are going to have their ratings raised to 18+ there. Have to wait and see if that affects Nikke at all since theyve previously stated that they will do what they have to to maintain a 13+ rating. The censored version of Destiny Child for comparison is 17 or 18+ in most regions (13+ in UK for some reason).

As FunkyCat said, there is only one version so all of them with have the same level. As for how spicy it's going to be, we don't really have any idea. Some times they use the old artwork in promo stuff. Sometimes they use newer more covered up artwork. Different closed betas have had different combinations of old and new. Artwork with knee length coats and hair to completely cover asses have been found in the files, but have never been show elsewhere. We find out when it launches.

For me it was more that they absolutely slaughtered my squads. I could never kite properly. Either my SMGs took too much damage because I didn't move them soon enough or my backline was massacred because I retreated the SMGs too soon.

Oh, right it was called Arctic Warfare not Winter Assault. It was just was so demoralizing to play for a year or whatever and still not be able to complete an event.

Wasnt the case for me. I started either shortly before or during Winter Assault (I think thats what it was called) and couldnt finish it. I wasnt surprised since I was just starting. Other events came and went and I was disappointed I couldnt finish all them, but I carried on thinking Id eventually be able to. I most likely hit a roadblock in the normal chapters too, but I dont remember where. Then the Winter Assault was rerun and while I was able to make it farther, I still wasnt able to make it all the way through. I played all that time and still wasnt able to finish the first event I played. Thats what made me realize Im too bad at GFL. Ive had to fight the urge to try again ever since.

I'm quitting CounterSide. I actually like the game but I'm so bad at it I can't seem to do even some of the most basic missions and it's starting to make me really frustrated.

Thats the exact reason I quit it too. Twice. Once with SEA and once with Global lol. Its kinda funny and really sucks that the 2 gachas Ive liked the most, CS and GFL, are both ones Ive had to quit because I suck too much at them.

For anyone looking into running it locally, I've experienced wait times of around an hour and a half for the generation of 4 images in parallel using CPU rendering (GPU rendering is much, much faster and has more features, but I know not all of us have great cards). My CPU is dated, so you might be able to get better render times out of it. In terms of NSFW content, all I've seen from my limited experience has been nightmare fuel made out of hands, partial arms, and weird body proportions. There is another model called Waifu diffusion that is supposed to be better at generating anime art, but I've had no luck getting that setup locally.

Just FYI for anyone interested in running it locally.

Waifu diffusion is set up the exact same way as the normal one. You just rename the waifu model instead of the standard one.

I think Ill just quit Guardian Tales. With that Im back to having no gacha games. Barring the week I played GT, Ive had no gachas to play since early August.

They're pretty shitty.

Kung Fu Masters Fei and Mei, who I dont have lol. I only have 199 mileage. None of them are 5 star or have their exclusive weapons.

How important are chain skills? I thought they were very important, but the only team recommendation I got elsewhere was Claude, oghma, crossel, karina which is 2 Down->Airborne and 2 Down->Injured since I dont have access to Oghmas other chain skill.

So, personally, i would recommend Claude, Oghma, Crossel, and Karina.
Now you may be wondering, hang on, what? Karina? Isnt she a rare hero?
Yes, in fact she is a rare hero, however, IMO she would be better for this team than gabriel, the other top tier healer.
Now yes, gabriel is a top tier healer, and has a great typing for story, many hard enemies are dark type, meaning that gab being light is nice, but the reason you shouldn't use gab, is because she doesn't synergies with the team, at ALL.
One of the sole reasons gab is used, is because her debuff/support options.
As a healer, miya is the "best" healer in the game, and out-heals every other healer, by a good margin, however, healers like kam and gab are used over miya, is because they have insanely strong debuff/support. Gab in particular debuffs the opponents' light resistance a lot, so she is insane on light teams, but, if there are no dps teammates which are light, that ability is useless. In t100 colo teams, arabelle/oghma dark teams all use miya, or no healer, never gab ( sometimes kamael ).
Karina on the other hand, heals with her main attack, heals with her chain skill, and has a nice revival ability when shes 5*, this is incredible, as healers die quite often, this makes her probably the best 2* healer. However, she party buff makes it so that shes only every good on mono dark, or dark orientated teams, and guess what you've got, yup.
The team beth, lilith, gab, oghma has great team composition, however overall is below average, gab I've already talked about, and your main dps, beth and lilith being melee, makes them very vulnerable to attacks.
Beth is really good in story, because of her ws giving shield, but claude lead and his isnane aoe ws is just something else in story.

I don't like either, so no.

I was finally able to get Guardian Tales to work ok on an emulator recently, but I have no idea who to use. For the moment Im looking for a storyline team. I have almost all the 2*s and the 3*s I have are Beth, Lilith, Claude, Idol Eva, Croselle, Gabriel, Mayreel, and Oghma. Im guessing I want a tank, a healer, and 2 dps. I have no idea who to use as the healer and dps, especially given chain skills.

avoid the word portrait, add in some descriptors for body parts such as legs, waist, etc dont be afraid to just dump single word descriptors separated by a comma, SD loves tons of info on prompts.

Problem is that those kind of things cut off the top of the persons head for me quite often, except for wide angle. That gives me almost exclusively portraits for some reason which is the same as not putting it in at all. I was really hoping for a photography/illustration term that tells it the result should have from the top of the head down to the waist with all of it in frame in the same way that portrait tells it to just give the head or head and shoulders. Ive thought something like medium shot, mid shot, or waist shot would work, but they dont. They either seem to get totally ignored (like wide angle) or cut off the head.

Tim Horton's used to have amazing donuts when they were baked fresh on site. Then about 15 years ago they decided to bake all the donuts at a central location and send them frozen to the restaurants. Since then they already taste stale when you buy them. Plus the variety plummeted. They also apparently changed their coffee brand for the worse and I've been told that MacDonald's coffee is actually the brand Timmies used to use. They then started adding not very good other stuff like wraps when sales dropped in hopes of bringing more business. The coffee bit is just what I've heard since I never drink the stuff. I do know that people used to line up for blocks every morning to get Timmies coffee.

I want to be a house husband. I dont think this will work.

The last one I played was Sisters Generation. I got grossed out partway through and couldn't bring myself to finish it.

I dont mind how everyone else looks in screenshots and trailers, but I personally cant stand how Guybrush looks in it.
