I'm a skinny guy and I gladly date larger women. I've had partners with all sorts of body types, and I definitely prefer the thick side of the spectrum. (Although I do have limits when you're talking really big. Tried it, since I'll try almost anything once, and wasn't into it.) The thing about bigger women is they tend to have bigger asses. And sex with a woman with a huge ass is incredible. I'm also larger than average below the belt, which probably does factor into it somewhat.

I got high and listened to Animals with a friend who was trying to introduce me to Pink Floyd. I thought it was kinda boring. My mind kept wandering and I wasn't really even listening to it by the end. But I'm a heathen when it comes to music, so I never expect myself to have an informed opinion about what's good or not.

I was really into dinosaurs, and had a bunch of those "scientifically accurate" dinosaur toys. Like the kind they sell in museums, and also for some reason in art supply stores... as reference models I guess? I can't remember the brand. But they didn't have moveable joints. They were just solid hard plastic. Must've had like 50 of those things. I used to know all the Latin names for the different kinds of dinosaurs and everything.

I'd take her up on the offer!

Personally I'm so-so on receiving. Can be hot or meh, depending on situation/skill. But I like it when partners can be honest with me about their freakiest desires. I always try to encourage that and stay open to exploration.

I drink black coffee all the time. I'll usually only add sugar/cream if the coffee is really bad and needs help, like on an airplane or something. Although even airplane coffee is higher quality nowadays than it was 10-20 years ago.

I've had a lot of Korean instant coffee because I got it as a joke gift from a friend in Korea. Some of it was decent, but most of it was so sweet it barely tasted like coffee. I don't know enough about the different brands to say whether this was representative or not, though.

My only issue with the casting is the origin of the story. Disney has tried (even though I have some issues with Aladdin) to respect the cultures these stories are from. TLM is Danish, so maybe they should have gotten someone from that region (ethnically) like they do from the other movies (which is part of my issue with Aladdin)

One of the main characters in the original cartoon is a Jamaican crab. The villain is based on a drag queen from Baltimore. The "authentic Danish culture" ship sailed long ago as far as Disney is concerned.

It actually probably would be cool to get a Danish Little Mermaid that sticks to the fairy tale. Especially if it's like a weird arthouse movie aimed at adults, that really digs into the gloomy clammy atmosphere and the sacrificial magic and all that. But that's a totally different conversation.

Topic[Blogfaqs/Discussion] Sometimes I hate being a guy and having a male sex drive.
TheOnionKnight
09/13/22 5:03:08 PM
#24
I have a pretty high sex drive, to the point where it can get distracting, but I'm good at putting mental barriers in place. So I can say to myself "nope, not this one" and actively put people into the friend zone. I have some very clearly demarcated lines in my social circles, in my own head, and I just don't cross those lines. Once I flip that switch, it's actually hard to flip it back. Sometimes thoughts still creep in, but if someone is in the "off limits" category in my brain, that's usually enough. But you have to really mean off limits. Like it will not happen. Ever. I think some guys still fantasize about "well, maybe..." Whereas I truly file it away as impossible.

Of course it also helps to get laid regularly. That way, you're still satisfying your urges, not suppressing them. So if you start to get horny, you can channel it into anticipation for the next time you see your partner, and take the focus off the present moment.
