Hitler pretty much had to move in on the USSR, after the allies gutted the African supply chain.

Hitler was always going after the Soviet Union right from the moment he became Fuhrer. The Judeo-Bolsheviks were a natural threat and had to be exterminated and living space created. He didn't invade them because of the North African campaign (which didn't really have much of an impact until the end of 1942).

The Nazis saw the Russians as sub-human and were always going to eliminate them - the plan was to raise Moscow to the ground and use the remaining Russians in the west as slave labour. The British would surrender as soon as Moscow fell as the Germans thought that they would have no more resolve to keep going after that point.

Not really. They only turned against the war when they found out they might be conscripted? They were perfectly fine with turning Ukraine into a crater when it didn't affect them.

Liz Truss backed remain if I recall, but became a Brexit cheerleader under Boris Johnson. So who knows if she has any actual principles.

The prequels are more consistent and have a story they want to tell. The Last Jedi is the best movie since Empire but the sequel trilogy is disjointed and not worth watching (Rise of Skywalker makes the whole set a waste of time).

Britain may have lost the American colonies but this meant it could alter its focus to India and Australia. You could say one of the reasons the British Empire was so successful was because they lost America and instead looked into controlling other their colonies and seizing new ones.

And France paid the price for helping out America as the French Revolution followed shortly after, allowing the British Empire free reign without needing to worry about France for a good few years.

Yes, and I got all the achievements for it on the 360. Trying to get an S rank on Silver's stages drove me up the wall.

It's a terrible game but it at least has more going for it than Sonic Forces which is just so bland there's really nothing to say.

Nintendo gets the original. Xbox gets the remaster.

As soon as they stop following the books (season 5), it starts to take a nosedive which becomes more and more apparent the longer you watch. It's a shame that most people only realised how bad the damage was when they got to the final season. The writing was on the wall years beforehand.

That said, read the books.

I have been told that, and while that may be the case, Bond without the feel that Brosnan, Connery, or Moore portrayed isn't what I want from the movies at all. Craig is a dull and lifeless Bond. No humor, charisma, or fun.

I hope whoever takes the mantle next brings some fun and life back to the character.

What part of that isn't democratic? Who the Tories choose as their leader is a matter for them. All parties let their members choose their leader.

My point was that the Tories don't care who leads them as long as they're toeing the party line and that's why they've elected 3 women. I'm not denying that the party has a sexism problem but if it truly was as big an issue as you make it out to be, Sunak would be PM right now. Truss is seen as a safe pair of hands by the Johnson loyalists, Sunak knifed Boris in the back.

We're up to 3 female Prime Ministers who were all Conservative. Every Tory has wet dreams about the Thatcher years. Regardless of what individual MPs do in the commons, the party membership chose Truss over Sunak.
