One of them is so patently obnoxious that I'm still surprised I made it another ten episodes after his introduction.

I mostly just enjoyed how Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke played off of each other. I also like how wholesome of a character Tanjiro was, and he struck a good balance between feeling sympathetic for the demons he has to kill and recognizing that most of the demons he encounters won't be like his sister and they have to be put down. He was just a really refreshing character to me at the time. Still haven't watched the train arc yet though.

Yeah, I gave it a shot because I still had some Funimation sub left over from AoT and I was kinda baffled. It's just every generic shonen trope thrown into one. The best compliment I can give it is that they get fairly creative with some of the demon powers, but there's only so much I can take of them powering up with a combination of breathing and love.

Of course, because POF is a cash grab now, I can't click on their profiles to message them or even look if we have things in common. I'm not talking about bringing up your travels. That's something YOU did. Seeing the sun set? That's a vague human concept, and you both could talk about sunsets and maybe actually see one. And paintings? That sparks conversation that isn't about YOU or your thoughts, so much as concepts of beauty, anesthetics, motion in still images, etc. And it could lead to maybe wanting to check out a museum together.
